  1. thank you very much to your post :hehe: and thank you also to all VJ's giving such encouragement about vasectomy, i have the am question in mind.but now i got the answer..thank you guy's :thumbs:

We simply haven't checked up ours emailes when have sent them together with the petition. :crying: In letters the information about vasectomy contains. Any other documents.

Thanks everybody for answers and the help. I very much appreciate yours the help.

    I have a little relaxed.

  2. My fiance' and I have submitted a K1 visa application. She is from the Phillipines and I am from the US. I have been hearing a little about age difference being an issue with approval. I am 51 and she is 31. I realize this is a 20 year spread, but she is no teenager. I would think that it may be more of an issue if she were younger, say 18-25 and I was 38-45. We are almost 60 days into our wait after NOA1.

What do you VJ'es think? Will this be an issue?

    Thanks.

:thumbs::thumbs: don't worry too much, you'll be fine, age does'nt matter as long you truly love each other.

    good luck

  3. I honestly think the K1 visa process and immigration could ruin a relationship, it puts way too much pressure on the foreign spouse to immediately give up everything in their life and move to another country after barely knowing someone. Now they are there with nothing to go back to, or onerous process of rebuilding employment/life, and plane tickets are expensive and travel can disrupt the costly and time consuming permanent residency process. Seems like a good way to rush a nascent relationship and spoil it with one spouse feeling like they have no power and are essentially a prisoner in a foreign country. It encourages rushing into marriage as well which is never good, I imagine a lot of these relationships are still in the infatuation stage.

There are people posting about getting the physical meeting out of the way so they can file for K1, what?! That is koo koo cocoapuffs! Hell at least the marriage of convenience and fraud cases both people know what they are diving into so at least no one is going to get hurt.

The one scenario where it does make sense is when two people want to try furthering a relationship, but the foreign partners country is too dangerous or unstable for it to be an option. But even then the pressure to get married is suffocating.

I don't have a good answer, and I have nothing against any couples going through the process, I just think its not a good process for building a marriage and relationship. Perhaps the marriage time limit should be extended or the other demands on the couple removed.

Hi,don't say Hell, because we don't feel its hell waiting for our approval, if your not happy of K-1 then don't file yours, please we are here to encourage each other while waiting for approval not to discourage :thumbs::thumbs: take care

  4. :thumbs::thumbs: congratulations...

Anginafrica posted his/her experience calling USCIS http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/316104-noa2-79-days-at-csc/

and this prompted me to call USCIS. Thank you Anginafrica! :star: :star: :star:

Their website still had my WAC # under initial review since 03/21/11...no touches at all. After following instruction posted by Anginafrica, I was informed by Tier 2 rep that my CR1 petition has been approved effective 06/20/11.:wow: She also stated that NOA2 was mailed out on same day.

I checked my mailbox as soon as I got home today...and there was my NOA2! :star: Thank you dear Lord!!!

Just checked USCIS website and it still reads "Initial Review

On March 16, 2011, we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or contact our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

And THANK YOU VJ for streamlining the requirements and responding to my questions. We're headed to NVC and because of all the information on this site, I have all the required paperwork prepped for NVC.

    God Bless!

Ok So our K1 and K2 visas were approved last 6/22 and were just asked the usual questions:

    How did we meet?

    how many times he visited,

if we had previous marriages, his job, duarations of his stays,.. mostly dates that im pretty sure were answered accurately.. he was just browsing through our docs most of the time during the interview that only lasted for like 6 minutes and said " ok i will approve your visa now and expect it in few days.. goodluck Lance!.." (my 3 year old son)

However i cant help but wonder why he didnt even bother to look at the photo album i really put so much effort in making LOL with all my creativity and even the folder which contains other relationship proof such as emails, plane tickets, hotel reciepts, skype screenshots, engagement ring reciept, money transfer reciepts etc..

Is this usual? if so how many days were you able to have the visa on hand after the interview

    TIA <3

  6. My current pay stubs going forward will only show $200 per week and i work for a private company who writes my company checks by hand, i dont get a pay stub that shows amount of taxes paid or my YTD earnings. Yes i can show YTD Earning with my bank statements but when i show my current checks are only $200 per week how do i explain that? It would be obvious i am no longer making $24,000 per year?

If i found a new job and made enough to sponsor my Fiancee can i still sponsor her even with lack of work history Ex: only 2 months on the job or will i still need a cosponsor?

Can they deny for financial reasons based on only my cosponsors income even he he makes twice the amount need to qualify because i dont have a job or am not making as much as before?

    thank you for your help!

    good luck guy's
