      TYVM, we had a interview at local uscis office

      was hoping for a 10year, but lol, I knew 99.99% she'd be getting a 2year & watever...all's well ends well

    POE @ SFO, officer was very friendly & asked me some questions, the whole process took less than 5min or so, waiting for my bags took way 2 long though zzz

    About one more day till he goes for the interview. Interview is October 6, Thursay day for them and Wednesday night for us. He says he's ready. If the CO asks questions about us then he can answer 100%. I told him I hope we get a CO that is having a good day cause I know he can answer anything about me. Oh and he was telling me that at the Laos embassy try to answer every question. If you answer a question wrong (i.e. what date you met or got engaged) they ask you again and if you ...

    Only about 10 more days and it's time for the interview. He's getting more and more nervous...lol I told him to chill but i'm nervous too. Oh and getting the police report today. Also, I helped a older guy with some of his K1 paperwork. They interview about a week and half ago and they got their visa. The USC was about 60s and his fiance in a Laos was 19. I think that if they could get it then the rest of us with fiancee's in Laos can too.

    fiance had her medical today, took around 1hrs30min & cost around 8k thaibaht (275$), i told her to take her immunization record to her medical so I guess she only needed like 3 shots...hopefully now all she needs to do tomorrow is find a photo studio to get a 50x50 photo and then go turn in packet 3 in ther afternoon & get an interview appointment

      fiance was suppose to go w/ another person she met on day she picked up her forms, but i guess they gave her the cold shoulder in the morning & said they were already at the border, dang pplz...so she left after eating breakfast & got to udon arnd 10ish & was finish arnd 12ish & came back arnd 4ish to pick up her medical packet (she passed =D, but they told her to go back in october to get a series of shot, zzz)

    here is the link for packet 3 for the american embassy in laos http://laos.usembassy.gov/fiance_2011.html you can pretty much do packet 3 and send it to your fiance w/o relying/paying for some random person to do it for your fiance and risk a chance that they might not be putting the right stuff down

      this is a long and money depleting process enough to dish out hundreds more for some people to do your fiance's packet 3, so do it yourself, the forms only require that you can read/write basic english (i'm assumming all government based forms are made for the average adult for a 8th grade reading/writing level), not that hard (so if you can, don't waste more money than you have to to hire others to fill them out for you)

    here is the link for packet 3 for the american embassy in laos http://laos.usembassy.gov/fiance_2011.html you can pretty much do packet 3 and send it to your fiance w/o relying/paying for some random person to do it for your fiance and risk a chance that they might not be putting the right stuff down

      just download all the pdf forms and print them out, fill them out, and send them to your fiance to use, etc...there is laotian forms of the english forms, all the forms must be completed in the english language (the laotian versions of the forms must be answered in english & not in laotian)

    fiance went to pickup/turnin packet 3, was pretty much all the forms I already did & sent her (on the vientiane consulate website)...she couldn't get an appointment date yet b/c I guess the checklist form was supposed to have the boxes checked & the "passport photos" for form 156 was suppose to be the bigger 50mmx50mm 1 & not passport photo size

      anyway the ppl there told her that it's best to just pick up packet 3 then go to do the medical b4 making an interview appointment in case she mite have to have extra medical checkups, etc...she's going to do medical 2morrow then gonna go back on Wednesday to turn in everything for her interview date, hopefully everything is well (she heard some1 from today got a interview date of mid November, so we might get a late November date, QQ)

    emailed consulate on the 2nd & they haven't received packet yet, but says I can tell my fiance to go pick up packet 3 (which I already pretty much did & already sent to her)

      also got email back from udon clinic that my fiance can just do a walk-in to their clinic, just provide her name & date of walk-in to them to give them the heads up
