Card/ Document Production The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on April 13, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days.

oh AOS why are you taking so long! Case was transferred to CSC 23rd December... missing my brother's wedding in the UK this weekend because they are taking so damn long! We filed our AOS 5 months ago =(

They didn't have my spouse sign the I-693 at the Civil Surgeon's office before they sealed it up, which is why we got the RFE. Lovely. Have to do it over.

I just received a I-797, Notice of Action and it says that our petiton has been approved and forwarded to the listed consulate (but there is no consulate listed anywhere on the notice). Does anyone know anything about this form? I tried to post on a forum but am unable to figure out how that works so hoping someone reads this post and can help answer my question. Thanks.

Apparently, we just need Igor's green card in order for him to start working. He's been looking for a job but nothing good so far. I was told that the green card is considered a work permit. The letter from social security clearly states that he can legally work here but needs the green card. Any info or advice? Is the wrong info? Thanks

Interview is tomorrow morning at 7:45 am (Denver time). We are ready but have to admit i am a bit nervous (for no reason)

The AOS interview was a breeze. We gave the IO all the evidence we carried with us. The IO only asked some basic questions. The IO told us that everything looks good and that if he needs anything else from us, we will be contacted via mail. We're looking forward to the USCIS update online about approval and card production!
