I submitted only pictures and my SMS logs. Had to censor some of the words They only browsed thru it, i dont think they read any actually. They were mostly interrested in pictures

I have lived in romania prior to moving to Norway and i needed a police certificate for the time i lived there. My police certificate was valid for a year, not sure if this is a regular procedure. Its already been processed and accepted by the embassy and was getting very close to its expeiration date.

My interview is tomorrow... trying to stay calm and breathe!!!!!

Amen to that! I already have my medical scheduled, Xray and blodwork (that hurt and left a big bruise) and today i received a call from the embassy they scheduled my interview. Super fast, i have seen people on VJ that waited A LOT just to get that done. I cant wait to be done with this! Even tho i know i have another step coming, the AOS, the mother of all steps. I know now, my least favorite thing in the world is to wait and wait and wait

Thank you so much for your reply and congrats on receiving the visa! Can i ask you why it took so long from the time of interview untill actually receiving the visa? Is this standard procedure? Anyways thank you again for the info, already emailed the office in Oslo and Stavanger. Both are on vacation untill august 1st. Got really fast replies from both and and i have already scheduled my medical in Oslo. Hope it goes smooth for both me and my kid.

Congratulations! Get ready for the next step

Trying to figure out how to have the medical examination done and the paperwork i received is so confusing. As I understood this, i am supposed to have the X rays and blood test done prior to the medical appointment. They need to be taken before and allow some time for the results to reach the medical office.Then have the appointment. Now my questions is, can i have them done anywhere else in the country (public hospital) and have them forwarded to them? Or is it mandatory to have them done in Oslo? The letter states X Rays must be taken in a public hospital or one of the institutes named on the laboratory request.The request has Oslo/Lillestrøm on it. No further info regarding blood tests. Tried to call both offices and they are closed untill august 1. Any of my Norwegian VJ fellows know how this works?

OMFG! We have the same NOA1 date and I am at VSC too! ###### this got my hopes up now! I'm currently visiting my fiance in the US, until bnext Tuesday, it would be so amazing if we heard from them this week!! So sorry you got an RFE though I'm so afraid of that!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you! Im sure the RFE has something to do with too little evidence of ongoing relationship. My fiance has only submitted pictures and some statements. I have read on the forums that pictures and statements alone are considered secondary evidence and thus a RFE Primary evidence are airfares stubs, hotel receipts and credit card statements stuff like that. I just wish i found Visa Journey before, i only found it recently, the amount of info and support here is overwhelming.

Today I finally received the text and emmail regarding my case status, unfortunatley it was that dreaded request for evidence. My question is does this mean that Vermont is processing January filers already? Is my case going to be bounced back while we submit the missing info and they process it!! OMG I feel im so close, cant wait to find out what is it they requested. Arrrggghhh

Im going to get so excited when I see approvals from Vermont service center. Not too long now ))))

I'm eternally grateful I found this site. I would have gonna thru all the madness by myself. At times it feels hopeless and theres a lot to consider and i am still waiting for the NOA2 and still no touches. Filed early January
