People... I am in a dilemma, I want to enlist in the US Air Force and she should interview next month God willing... I know it will be hard for her to make such an adjustment... not only is she coming to USA, she will be married to an militaryman. I do not know... I wanna be there for her and do not know what could happen

Well, I am doing the process now, but I wont leave until 2012. So I guess this is good timing, I can spend many months with her. And yes, I have family and she has one brother and some friends in Miami... I live in Orlando. She wont be alone at least... I am going forward... there was a time when I said, I wasnt enlisting because she was coming but if she really loves me she will understand.

MY hubby is in the MIL too. i got here Apr, we got married May. and i can say, US is far way different from Philippines. we got no one here in Hawaii just us. my dad is in SFO w/c is 6hour flight. hubby will be in deployment in Nov, i cant drive yet till then because i need to wait for my GC. i cant have my own bank accnt because i dont have yet my SSN til i got GC. have ZERO friends here (serious). I cant literally do anything without him. think yours is way better than my case

Yes, another person encouraging me! You know it will be a while before I leave for boot camp... I forgot to mention that I will have advanced rank among all the things they offered. I cant refuse... by the way I believe you can get SSN without the GC. The driver license you do have to wait for the GC.
