      I advise you not to make any decisions in regards to the petition until you are both 100% sure that there is no way for it to be fixed. Long distance relationships are extremely fragile and it takes alot of patience and understanding to overcome the circumstances. Take a couple of days or maybe a week or two to really give each other time to think about it. I wish you good luck with whatever happens.
