    He got his passport after arguing his way into the Consulate and picking it up directly, as there is an issue with DHL and they promised his passport almost 1 MONTH after his interview instead of the usual 10 days. Worst Consulate ever? It's up there.

    Hey FYI...there is an issue with the passports in the Guayaquil Consulate. DHL isn't picking them up. My finace just went to the Consulate directly and got his today (after lots of waiting and some arguing)..but if you're in a hurry, I would call them ASAP because they told us that we wouldn't get our passport until next week, and we had our interview almost 15 days ago.

    There was an issue with DHL...they're not picking up the passports for some reason. So my fiance argued his way into the Guayaquil consulate and got it himself. We fly tomorrow :)

    Hey, quick question! Did you get your DHL tracking number through the CSC website? Or did they send you an email? Hope things are great up north!

    Still no appointments? I haven't had any luck :(

    No appointments, still. The people on the phone don't know anything--three weeks ago they told us it will open in 2 weeks. One woman told us that they are full until November 7th.But I also know that they made appointments for October ONLY on September 26th. They opened appts on Sept 26th, I tried Sept 27th and nothing. I think its just the new system. There are lots of problems. Keep trying.

    Yeah, I think that there have been lots of complaints--starting a new system for anything always brings problems. Count yourself lucky!! Next week, no?

    Still nada :( I wrote them an email describing my problems three days ago, but they didn't send a response. Maybe they're...thinking about it? Haha.

    Has anyone else had troubles trying to make an appointment through this new CSC Visa Information Service? Mine always says "No dates are available." :(
