    Hi everyone, I just want to thx everyone for your support, and advice during the long journey that finally came to an end on the 22 April 2013.

    My wife went through a succesful interview on April,22 ,2013 and got her passport back through DHL on May, 2, 2013.

    I am currently very busy with my finals at school. I will post her interview expereince when am done with my finals.

    Best luck to other, and stay positive, never be discourange because times runs very. There's a times for everything.

    Hi New Yorker, I will say take it easy and moved on with life. I really feel how painful you are. Its very sad when a man love a woman genuinely, vice verse, and planning to make a family ,and things like this happen. All i will say, stay strong and positive. This things happen in all races or cultures not only Filipinos. I believe in the chemistry that a good women or man comes from God. We humans and sometimes can never guide other human being.     The Mathematics of 2 years, 4 to 5 months to be schedule for an interview.

    From what I have study, I believe most people end up schedule for interview after 2 years, 5 months from their PD. Some do get interview 2years-4months, and couple of weeks. This is the philosophy they are using. When NVC get faster,they slow down. From Nov 23, 2010 which is my PD, I believe am 2 months from being current, and that will be around march 2013. Since am 23 Nov,2010 which it might slow down during the next 2 visa bulletins in other to catch up with their current time frame, i may end up schedule for April which will eventually be 2 years 5 months base on the mathematics they using. On the contrary, if they move a little faster than 4 weeks i will end up having interview in March which will be 2 years 4 months.

    So I don't think we gonna see anything above September 22, 2010. But thank God its moving.

    Question on ITIN

    ITIN is very important. I am having problem at fin aid office right now at my school because I filled single, mean while I am married. They asked me to bring copies of MoneyGram receipts which proof that I have been sending money to my wife in other for me to be eligible for financial aid or loan, and also advised me to get a tax id number for my wife in other for me to file for 2012 if not I will still have this same conflict next semester. Furthermore I also wrote a letter explaining while my wife did not filed tax for 2011 with copies of MoneyGram from Jan to Nov 2012, and the officer of fin aid told me, everything is ok, we shall go ahead to process your aid and loan

    I am about to find information on how to apply for tax id number for someone without ssn

    Can someone also tell me the process in obtaining tax number, and how long it takes?

    olanko, u will get ur marriage certificate at the time of interview. They gonna ask you of photocopy and return your original.

    I wrote a letter to nvc to return my wife birth cert and marriage cert but on the embassy website its mentioned to submit photocopy if need the original to be return...if you need to use the marriage cert before yr interview then u can use yr wife or husband copy...bc during marriage each party is entitle to a copy.
