My Police records of when I was living abroad. The procedure is fairly simple, I wish I knew before the interview how to do it.
The CO at the Embassy was very kind and helpful. She told me EXACTLY where and how I could request the document. Now, a little more waiting to do and hopefully it'll be done soon.

tomorrow is my interview, I'm so excited!! Jack couldn't get his days off from work and we're nervous about it. We hope it doesn't hinder us... Last day of a very long hurry up and wait. Pray for us!!

you can reschedule it but I'm not sure how and how many times. In our case we thought it was better to get our stuff together before we had to rush it.

When I went to schedule the interview the available date showing was the next day. It had more to do with us getting our paperwork together (we both have full-time and very demanding jobs). When we were halfway done with that (the beneficiary has loads more to do than the petitioner) we scheduled it, next available date was a month later.
It has to do with both sides I guess.

So effing disappointed!!! Jack won't be able to come!! Work sucks!! They traded his week here for an extra week for the honeymoon. :'( NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!

Holidays were ok, missing him terribly but that's to be expected. What about yours? What did you do?
The document gathering is taking a bit longer than we thought, people went on vacation, shorter working hours, etc. So no interview date yet. I'd rather have them almost done before scheduling. Hugs ...

Hi. I'v been following your profile for a bit, our submitting dates are similar. I was wondering if you could tell me your process after receiving your NOA2. Did you call the NVC to get you case file number? Did you schedule your interview before you got the hard copy?

NOA 2 dated November 28th... I wish it was Jack writing this, he's much more eloquent than I am... Now, we're pulling for the NVC to hurry and send our documentation to Bogota. I can't begin to describe how happy we are.

Only one week after the CSC received our RFE... Naturally, there's no answer... This holiday season is going to suck! :'(

We got our hardcopy for the RFE. They want us to send again the Letter of Intent, we figured someone lost it over there. Jack called the CSC to see what was wrong with our original statements and what he told me was: "I was livid! I felt back in the army!". Anyway... this weekend my letter will be in his hands.

We are solving it right now... both our birthdays got a bit in the way of general research. The CSC was of no help whatsoever.
Anyway, that's that and I'll be sending the letter by tomorrow evening and it'll take another month for the process to unfreeze.
*sighs* yay for savings though. Not quitting my job anytime soon.

Thank you!! I think the worst part of my flip out is over. Although Jack keeps telling me that there won't be anything they can ask of that we don't have.
The main thing is the time... a bit stressful to be waiting on a deadline to start your life with your huney, isn't it?
And you're right, it's a good thing to know for sure that your papers were already seen, scanned and studied. At least someone has them and they are waiting for our reply.<...
