    Was it an ORFI marriage? Or was it done in the courthouse? Did you have to go to 3 different buildings for Stamps of approval? Some people get ORFI marriage just to have sex in egypt and stay in hotels together. But, the ORFI contract can become a legal marriage if you both registered it by getting the 3 stamps of approval to register it.

    If it is just an ORFI document than it is not a legal marriage and no divorce is needed.

    Hi old friends. I just wanted to update everyone. We got divorced in January. I tried hard to forgive but I could not.

    On another note.

    Does anyone remember Betsy Ramey from VJ. She became a nurse practitioner. Lives in kentcky and from Chicago?

    Her husband is no longer on her FB. So, maybe they divorced.

    But my ex has been her FB friend for awhile. I am not sure the extent of their "friendship"

    I am really hurt and shocked. I told her some of his indiscretions. I confided in her. I had her number.

    And I believe I seen her where he works when I was speaking to him, she came up and said bye to him. But she was never my fb friend. I do not know why this is bothering me. I am just shocked that another VJ Egyptian wife could do this to another one of us. I guess I felt we were all a team with the same goal.

    On another note. I am single. Does anyone know where Betsy's ex is? LOL

    Cairo will not look at evidence at the interview

    If Cairo sees you have no evidence then they will ask for it.

    No, you cannot bring in your phone, computer or a disk.

    They want the printed stuff that you should have sent with your original I-130 or to the NVC with the DS-230.

    Definetely send some printed out pics on computer paper. They may ask him to show them a pic of you and his mom

    or ask whats his favorite pic is.

    Cairo is a place that you have to front load an application. Their mind is already made up by the time he goes to the interview.

    Yes.

    Do you understand the embassy is obligated to answer a congressional inquiry within so many days. But, the embassy is not required to answer the petitioner. Also, do you understand that the embassy likes to be friendly with congressmen because when the embassy needs money or grants the congressman has the ability to vote to grant the embassy financial support. If you need more assistance in understanding US politics or government, just ask, I am always willing to help!

    It means he is back in AP. Just like Carolyn. No one knows when he will have an interview again. They will finish AP whenever they want.

    Do you have your congressman involved? Are you registered to vote?

    FInd a congressman that supports immigration

    go to his/her website and print off the disclosure form

    fill it out

    JUST THE FACTS

    do not add all your pain and sorrow. Everyone in AP suffers. They do not care. They do not care if you want to die. They just want to know you are a registered voter and may vote for them in the future. They already know this if you have been a voter in the past.

    I think all these answers are assuming you are just a regular visa applicant

    They do not understand that your case was denied and sent back to uscis and then reaffirmed

    and you are waiting for the embassy to get your file back again from uscis/nvc.

    But be patient because even when the embassy gets the packet back, they may put you back in AP.

    You must be stronger. You have proved your relationship by getting the petition reaffirmed.

    Hang in there. You might have a long road ahead of you

    Sorry I cannot answer how long it takes for the packet to get to the embassy after reaffirmed

    People from Pakistan will not fill out their timelines so we are unable to give others from Pakistan information about how long each step would take

    Egypt will accept a cosponsor as long as he is way over the limit. if he barely meets it they will throw it out. I seen them throw out 25,000 for 3 people. so just get a good cosponsor and do not allow the public aid departmentplace your husband on the free rent or foodstamp count ever. or your sposor can be asked every year to give the government back that money

    Also he may not get a job for a year. how will you guys survive?

    You need to go out and find a decent job while he is here adjusting to usa life and making contacts
