I am getting more and more frustrated everyday. I understand that AP is mandatory and secretive due to national security reasons and it is an attempt to keep America safe. But its obvious that the system is broken and needs major modification. America being the most powerful country in the world and one of the most technologically advanced nation, I doubt that they would have problems developing a system to clear the AP process faster. I mean it should not take them months to figure out if a person has a criminal or terrorist background or not. In 6 months it should be clear if the person in question is actually a listed threat or not. if the issue of false hit on name check databases is causing the delay they should come up with a better software to resolve that problem. I am upset cause I pay taxes, but where is the tax money going? Why is it not being used to develop effective system to minimize our problems.
