Hi everyone;

I have filed a petition for my wife in june/2012; and our case is now with the NVC!

our case has got completed on 11/14/2012; and we're still waiting for an interview appointment from Ankara!

does anyone here still waiting for an appointment?! it's been exactly 2 months since our case got completed; and yet nothing!

I have called the NVC like 20 times during these frustrating 2 months, and all they have to say, is it depends on the capacity of the embassy! so we can't give you any estimation on how much you have to wait to get an interview!

if any of you is still waiting for an interview, or knows anything about Ankara embassy, please help me out here...

My parents' case was originally in Ankara, but then we received an email it got transfered to Yerevan. When I was in Yerevan so many cases from Ankara were transfered to Yerevan. I am assuming urs is also got delay because of that?! Not sure:)

My in laws had their interview on Dec. 5th and their AP is still not complete. How long does Administrative Processing take in your cases?

my parents had interview on November 13, and was cleared on Dec 20th!

Embassy was closed on Monday, so my parents dropped off their passports on Wednesday and picked up today (Friday)

My parents are in Armenia right now! Will drop their passport tomorrow !

They asked for two original I 864a again!!! So My husband & I Signed two copies again!

They asked for original I 864-A from me as well, but They also asked for copy of house hold passport( who is my husband) I took two original to Armenia! My dad told me that was the first thing they took it from them!

If she already did her vaccination , Monday is good!

Hope every thing goes well Mitra jan! I am checking the website everyday to see if their case gets clear! They have to be ready for second trip! Oh by the way, there is another important thing I have to tell you! Download Armenia visa form and fill out it for ur mom! It makes her arrival much easier and faster! For place she stays also put Shirak hotel!

They told my parents it takes 2 months!

The officer who was super nice told my dad it can be between 4 to 8 weeks! Then they just come back and drop off their passports in mail box in front of embassy for issuing visa:) the officer told my parents they have to stay one week for their second trip!

BTW, did the officer ask them to show him your american passport?

I checked priceline.com & hotels.com & ebookers but none of them suggest shirak hotel. May i ask which website you used to book in? and can you give me the phone number of those students who act like tour guides?

What they wanted was the copy of my husband's passport who is co-sponsor! You can go to booking.com or tripadvisor.com for Shirak hotel! The name of student is Ehsan Rodi, who is aPhd student here! I have been told he even can come and pick up ur mom from airport! But the taxi is super cheap 1000 Deram for each direction! But from airport is 6000 Deram. Ehsan Rodi number is 0037477910812! He offered us several apartments, but we were more comfortable in the hotel!

My parents' had their interview today! Everything was ok just they got AP!

Ok here we are! My mom & dad passed their interview! It was very easy ! There was no line at all! They didn't let me go inside! The questions were like: How many times you married ? Have u ever change ur last name? Asked about their jobs! And the only question about me: where I live?

Both got AP!! Everybody got AP! The journey almost done!

There are some Iranian students here who run travel agency, We saw a lady today in hospital gave us his number. If you want I can give you his number?

ok. guys here I am.in Yerevan! First of all they gave me hard time why I borned in Iran and travel with US passport! they asked for my Iranian passport which I didnt gave them!

Finally when we got a taxi to go to our hotel the fun time started! I booked 9 nights through booking.com the name of hotel was capital! Oh My God! when we got there, we were shocked! Capital actually is not a hotel!! it is a cottage in middle of village! so we even didnt leave the taxi! the only other hotel I knew was Golden Tulip! so we checked in there for $260 for ONE NIGHT! NO other choice after 30 hour.flight! so.then I started looking for a new hotel for next 8 days! Here now in Shirak ! the location is really good! but the hotel is old but sort of clean! My mom.& dad had their first part of medical yesterday! Dr Anush Harduian is a really nice person! They did x ray and blood test, and we go back.to hospital today for final visit.

Oh good luck! Just let u know if they travel from Tehran, they have to get their ticket ASAP! My parents had hard time to get theirs!!!
