Well Visa Journey, it has been a great time going through my Journey with you guys. I have never really posted anything on the website before, but I have read numerous stories; some heart breaking, some very informative, and some were quite motivational. I just want to thank all of you for your stories as it has helped me get through this tuff time. I started this journey April 15, 2011 and here it is a whole year later, and finally, my husband has his visa in hand and his plane ticket. I finally get to see the love of my life after 10 long months of absence on 04/21/2012. It has been one ruff and rocky road. There were several hurtles and bumps along the way, but WE DID IT! I didn’t think I was strong enough to make it, but I guess I underestimated myself. I just want to say to that person that feels like giving up, I have been there and back! You can do it though, it’s hard, but you can do it. If you ever want to talk and hear my roller coaster of a story, I am here. Once again, THANK YOU ALL!!

I think it would be wise to call DOS-Department of State in Washington and ask them the status of his case.
you will need names and birthdays and case number

Hit 1 then hit 0 to speak to someone
I think it would be nice if you had a timeline
Thank you so much, that was what I needed and calling Morocco is expensive.

My husband has his visa interview on 2/27 at 8am in Casablanca, Morocco. After 3 hours he finally called me and when I asked if everything was ok, he said the CO told him his Visa was ok, but he did not give my husband any tickets or even take his passpor. He simply told him that he will get a call in a week or two and then he can come in to get his Visa. Im confused, I thought that they would give him something, or atleast take the passport to add the visa in it. I dont know what to think. My husband keeps re-assuring me that the CO told him his Visa was approved, but with nothing in hand and no date of when he is supposed to get this "visa" I dont know what to think. Has anyone had this happen to them? I cant be happy when I dont know what is going on...

IM CONFUSED. MY DOCUMENTS HAVE NOW BEEN SENT OVER TO THE VISA CENTER. THEY ARE ASKING THAT MY HUSBAND SEND OVER BASICALLY ALL THE DOCS THAT HE SENT TO THE USCIS WHEN I FIRST FILED THE PETITION: MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE, BIRTH CERTIFICATE, TRANSLATIONS....LIKE I SAID BASICALLY EVERYTHING!! I THINK THAT IS CRAZY, I MEAN WHY WOULD THEY NEED THAT INFORMATION ALL OVER AGAIN?? I WAS JUST WONDERING IF THAT WAS THE PROCEDURE OR ARE THEY JUST MESSING WITH ME. THIS SEEMS TO BE TAKING FOREVER AND I AM GETTING FRAUSTRATED.
WELL VISA JOURNEY, MY JOURNEY HAS COME TO AND END
