  1. Hi,

I had my N400 interview and passed the test, however the IO didn't approve the case and said she needs more documentation, she said she will be mailing the rfe letter and I should reply to it within a month.

I have never received the RFE letter, I called multiple times and it's now been more than two months [the uscis case status website shows that the letter was mailed to me].

I also did an infopass appointment, explained what happened, the clerk directed me to IO office telling me that I should give her the necessary documentation (which I had with me - all the paperwork that shows our joint accounts and bona fide). Unfortunately the IO was not there that day so I left it at the front desk with a note that this was the RFE itself and hoping that they would give the documentation to IO.

I haven't received anything, I called USCIS second level support and explained the case, I keep getting letters [we do not have a time frame] which I didn't ask for, my case on uscis website says it's suspended and no action will be taken until they receive my reply to their RFE.

    Anyone has any idea?

    IO = interviewing officer

  2. Having a conditional LPR card vs the "10 year" has no bearing on his eligibility to apply. The law states that if the application is based on marriage to a US Citizen, he or she is able to apply 90 days prior to the 3 year anniversary of being admitted as a Legal Permanent Resident (date on card).

    Thank you.

  3. Hi,

I have a question on behalf of my friend:

He got married more than two years ago to a US citizen but never filed for adjustment of status, so after more than two years he decides to do it and gets a 10 year greencard(he doesn't get the conditional one because the condition is met, they've been married for more than two years).

He got the 10 year greencard in october 2012, when is he eligible to apply for citizenship?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. I think it means if someone else manages your mail, if my mail box doesn't fit they drop it off at the leasing office.

I'll just leave it blank, thanks

LoL, I did google it just before you said so :P My bad, I was just a little confused there.

    Appreciate your help.

  6. Hi everybody:

I am applying for AOS based on marriage

I arrived here as a visitor and I got married to US CITIZEN.

I am filling out I-767 now and on point 15 it says

Current Immigration Status: Student, Visitor ETC.

    my I-94 expired on may 05th 2011 .. I got married on April 30th 2011.

what should I put under that gap? VISITOR ? because my I-94 has expired.

Also in number 1 it is asking me for WHICH USCIS OFFICE ? what should I put there ( I live in Dekalb, IL) close to chicago

    I am also applying for I-130, I-485, I-863

what is the amount of checks that i should put together? and in what package, and should I mail it to CHICAGO LOCKBOX office?
