Hello
I was not requested to show my I-134. I have heard of other people not being requested as well. Each case is different though so my suggestion would be to take it just in case. Co-sponsors are allowed in K1 visas

A thorough medical is NOT required since you already took it in Pakistan now as for the vaccine record you will need to tell the civil surgeon that you will need the required vaccines that USCIS requires. It will still come up cheaper than paying for a full medical.
-
After that they will transcribe your info to the I-693 form which you will need to send it along with your entire AOS packet.

Hi momo and inoo
Congratulations! You have made the biggest step by coming to the U.S. Now what you will need to do is call a couple of civil surgeons telling them that you will only need the vaccination transcription and not the full medical. Please see the "civil surgeons who do not rip you off thread" to see a list that may be in your area. Contact them and show them y...

I included only the pics with my initial I 129 F packet all the other evidence were brought in but never asked for.
-
I wasn`t asked for any evidence since I provided the pics w/ my I 129F package but again this all depends on the consulate and I would highly recommend you to take as much evidence as you can. I included chat logs, skype calls, cell phone bill, e mails , and even letter of confirmation from her sister knowing about our engagement.

I suggest you to take it to the interview because there is a 50/50 chance that they may not ask you for it. That`s what happened to me but in the end it all depends on the consulate.

Yea but the good thing is that it all got sorted out and you should be on your way to the interview phase very soon. The EAD/AP card is the work authorization/advance parole combo card which gives her the right to work and leave the country while her green card is processing. No she did not have to go through AP then again women are usually let off much easier than men.

I`m happy to hear that you got the packet. Amazing how a small mistake can create such chaose for a person. They made you waste 1 month ughhhhhh

That is extremely overdue. Something is not right here. Have you tried calling DOS to check to see if your file has arrived at the embassy? Here`s the number 202-663-1225. Have you contacted NVC?

We will try to do a early biometrics walk in tomorrow. Wish us luck everyone

In response to your interview questions my wife told the consulate that we met online through her sister. The photo is one that we sent in so everything was pretty much done by us. The CO did not investigate anything.

that it would be much easier for him/her to provide a tax transcript as a exchange for the w2,1040 and paystubs. I used tax transcripts for everything. You can order them on IRS for free

Hi Jisha as previously mentioned to Saquib anyone can be your co-sponsor as long as he/she makes above the poverty level. As far as documents are concerned he/she will need to provide a I-134 and any supporting documents such as his/her W2,1040 and most recent paystubs, and a employment letter that confirms his/her income and the date/position on when he/she started. I would also like to mention
-
I forgot to mention that yes ANYONE as long as they`re a US Citizen can be your co-sponsor

Hi there in reply to your question my father was our co sponsor so we had a I-134 with all of his tax transcripts in hand. For K1 you are only required to fill out the I-134. The I-864 is the document that you`ll fill out once your fiance is in the states adjusting his/her status. The I-864 will give you the option to add a co-sponsor or add up all your household to the income

Finally got our Noa1 anyone know how long it takes for our bio metrics letter to come?
