    I called the NVC today. They told me that they need 15 business days to fully process each file, but that the files are forwarded to the Embassy after only one or two days. That means that Guangzhou already has our file!!!

      Well maybe I got too excited then Ryan. The woman on the phone only said that it is forwarded to the embassy, she didn't tell me how it was forwarded. I will be sure to ask that on Tuesday when I call back.

      OK so I was TOTALLY premature on all of this. I called today and the woman said that they just received the file today and it will be sent by DHL in the next few days to GUZ. She told me to call at the end of the week and they will tell me when it was sent out. The operator told me that ALL these visas go out DHL, which I don't think is entirely true, but I couldn't say anything to her. I'll just be more patient!

      To have a K visa file sent exclusively by SAFEFILE is very rare. Most, if not all NVC operators are unaware of SAFEFILE and will say all go out via DHL.
