Our Story
I met my wife in Shenzhen in 2009. I was living there for business for 6 month or so. We became serious and started seeing each other exclusively and then we had a baby and got married in Lianzho(just north of Guangzhou) last summer. Our baby was born in Hong Kong and carries has US passport BTW. I had to come back to Portland for business unfortunately last August and haven’t been back since. It’s been hard being away from my family but it is what it is and my family has to eat I need to pay the bills. I think we are finally on the downhill side of this Visa waiting game, but you never know. I’m hoping only another 2 months at the most. I have a lawyer working on this visa for me here in Portland who is Chinese so this helps.
