Hi,
I am a little unsure of the Visa Immigration Guide on this website.
Can someone tell me what forms you need to file if you entered US on a Visa Waiver, fell in love and married an US citizen? This was completely unplanned and the intent of the trip was not to get married at all?
Is it even possible?

Seems like you are a bit emotional. Probably rightfully so. However, when we are emotional we tend to frame things to the angle we want to see. Seeing Only Emotional Validation I think they call it.
Let things calm down a bit before your take action. Surely, the universe will work things out. And if she truly is a bad person, l'm sure it will come back to her somehow.

hi,
I just got my 1 year extension. And I am going overseas for two months tomorrow for work. i am sure I am going to receive biometrics appointment in my mail. How do I get around this? Can I contact the USCIS and do the appointment at an overseas consulate? or do I have to travel back to US to make my appointment?
Sincerely,
Baard

Thank you guys a lot for fast answer.
Do you think the NOA will arrive within two weeks if they got it in the center on Friday?

I am in a situation here, and I hope for some input.
My Green Card Expired 8 Feb 08. I filed the I-751 15. Jan. I got it back last week because I hadn't used the newest form. The only difference in the forms was a Barcode on the bottom of the page. I just sent it back with the new form, and my mail receipt shows they got it yesterday.
Now for the Grand Finale, I lost my expired Green Card today.
So, now I am without any legal papers, and not even a receipt that I have filed I-751.
The problem I have now is that I am going to Mexico for work leaving at 29 this month. If I don't go there I will pretty much loose my job.
What do I do now? Am I going to try to get a new expired 'Green Card'? Or hope to get the letter from I-751? (does the letter replace the green card or are they suppose to complement each other?)
Can I make an info pass appointment and get a stamp in my passport? and does this work without my green card to get back into the country?
Or shall I just go to mexico, report my card lost to the embassy while I am down there and hope they let me back into USA?
I really need some input here.. I am really in the dark......

What happens if you get divorced after you filed I-751? I heard the waiting process can sometimes extend up to 2 years. What if you divorce during that time period?

Hi Folks,
Just want to thank you all for helping me out. I really love this forum.
I just came from the AOS interview.
The officer did not ask me a single question. He just asked my wife how we met.
I did not show ID or anything. It took 5 minutes. He looked through the paper and it was approved!
So, do I have to go to interview for the I-751 (lifting the condition?)? Is that a similar interview?

How can you prove that you didn't intend to marry? Except from saying that was clearly not the intent?
