Just asking I am patiently awaiting my husbands 10 year green card/ appointment letter. We are planning on going away over seas. Do I need to get an infopass to get some kind of documentation on passport? Maybe this Is not for here but I just thought I would ask. Thank you

My husband is going to be come a USA citizen. I am trying to educate myself because he wants to bring his parents from the dominican republic and then how can they bring there chidlren? Do they first have to come into the states? Two children are under 21 unmarried some are over 21. Please advise on what needs to be done? Thank you. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

New information yesterday I called and they put in a request about my husbands biometric letter that I hadn't received. I got an email response like five minutes after telling me that his stuff was current and no need for biometrics appointment. I now need to call back to ask for his case number to see what it says online. Thanks for all your support and good luck to everyone. Will wait for interview notice/approval.

Called to consutorio de visa today still papers aer not ready I am so upset I usually know what to do but I actually have no idea at this point!!!

Why was he referred to a Psychiatrist? This is not a routine part of the medical exam...

Well September 20, 2011 was our schedualed interview. It was a couple of hours of nerves, heat and success. We got approved. My fiancee was told at the clinic that not everything was ready and that he had to come back a week later. He did and he was sent to the pshyciatric Dr and then was told the clinic would call him and then tell him to pick up the packet. Still waiting very nervous because I dont understand wat is going on. My fiancee said they asked him questions during the exam could something backfire. So close but yet so far. Please post if you have any idea wats going on!!! Thanks

I just got my appointment yesterday and now am wondering how long (if it gets there) should it be before my finacee gets packet number 4 at his house????? If he doesnt get it what do I do?

Yay, just had my interview, everything went very smooth (apart from the long wait for the family of 7 in front of me that didn't have their paper work in order, didn't know they had to pay $5000, and in general just needed a lot of time), and I was told that I'd have my visa in the mail in about a week!

The only questions they asked me where "where did you two meet? when did you meet? what work does she/you do?", and he commented a bit on the age difference (11 years), but didn't really question it or anything.

I am also older than my Fiancee and also am female and on top of it all its a high fraud country. I am not nervous about the interview but I fear the age difference will be a problem. I am ten years older than my fiancee. I believe I have all proof to prove valid relationship. What else should I have???

I was just talking to my boss at work when i got to my office and I see a text that I have new information from USCIS and then I opened my email saying it was approved. Still know I have a wait but it is very exciting when I thought that my stack of papers were just waiting on someones desk. Now for the next few steps!!!!! Petition approved June 8, 2011

I am in total agreement with you and I am one of the lucky ones that was able to visit my fiance a lot! I also speak to him everyday and that also helps! I have decided to throw a party for us and my family is going in august so getting things ready for that has both kept me and him occupied! Thank goodness for Tel3! Does anyone else know of a better minute provider and cheaper than them? If so can you please share. I have to call a cell phone. I also wanted to add that I think this long distance relationship has helped our relationship into a very open and well communicated one. I can't wait for him to be by my side but I have a lot of faith that my time will come soon. I am soooooo happy for everyone that good news keeps coming to them. I love hearing about it.
