It probably depends on your CO and how fast he/she can prepare your file to get processed and assigned a visa. Just give it one more week. I'm sure it will show up. Also, they tell you to give at least 2 weeks for delivery, not counting holidays and weekends, so you're still in normal processing times. I'm sure you will be in the USA before Christmas though! My fiancee had her interview on November 23, 2011. She got her visa yesterday afternoon. She had 2Go mail it out to her parents' house in Bacolod. You should have it some time this week hopefully. Did you go to 2Go's tracking page: http://www.2go.com.ph/CustomerSupport/etrace/index.asp (Enter your ENTIRE MNL Case number. Example: MNL2011890056) The status of your package will show up once the US Embassy hands over the visa package to 2GO couriers. If your status does not show up, it means the US Embassy has not released your visa to be delivered yet.

Thanks maning! I've tried that etrace several times and I get the message that the mnl case is invalid so they don't have it yet. tell your fiance congratulations! I just find it weird that I don't have any updates on my passport as to why its taking them more that 7 working days to print out my visa and send it to me. I'm just in the metro manila area anyway. Its the 9th working day today...I'm still clueless

I actually don't know what AP is and I wasn't given any paperwork I was just asked to go to window 72 i think then was advised to wait for my passport at home. It's been a long wait and all I wanted was to be with Nick before the holiday. I don't want him to spend too much on the ticket that's why I'm so anxious to get it this week. Last week was a total failure, I've been left out by those who had their interview after November 23 they already have their passport and some are even scheduled to leave this Saturday.

7 Working days already passed I'm on the 8th working day and I am out of luck. Sent emails, called several numbers and there were no concrete answers. Call center said they don't have access to the status of my passport. No one can tell why it is taking forever for them to print mine when in fact those who had their interview on a later date already have their visa on hand. It is extremely depressing.

i received my passport with visa and the yellow envelope[visa packet]3days after i called the usem and they told me that mine and my kids visa are already printed,when i called the 2go the following day i called them thousand times damnn but cant get through so i emailed them and asked about my visa,they replied me the same email you got but then i was surprised that the same day my mother called me and a guy wearing a uniform of 2go was waiting for me outside and thats it-my visa!!!i didnt receive a text though,all you need to do is to wait,it will arrive...

i had my interview last 21st of November 2011 and after the torture of waiting, finally at exactly 12:30pm (November 30, 2011) i got my visa from USEM

Well its a holiday today in the Philippines, i'minlove got her text from 2GO her interview was November 21 if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure you have tried contacting USEM to check for updates...We have no choice but to wait. I can relate to what you're feeling

i got interviewed and approved last november 17. and guess what? im still waiting for my visa to be delivered. 11 days already after the interview. my fiance is with me since 15 and he is disappointed that he wont be able to spend a week in his house with me when we get to the US coz he gona be at work a day after we arrive. all his vacations are consumed here and the money too coz he never expected that it will take us this long.. but the feeling that the visa is approved is better than hanging like when we havent been interviewed. hehehe

Wow that is really disappointing...did they ask for additional documents? well anyway my aunt was telling me that the hard part is over but still the wait is frustrating. I'm trying to keep my hopes up that I will have the visa on Friday

Well, no matter, have you tried looking at the timelines tool here? You can get a general idea of how long it takes to get a K-1 visa from your embassy after approval.

i had my interview last 21st and till now i don't have my passport and visa yet... I've been calling the US embassy and they kept saying that it's not ready to be release yet and i also emailed 2go and here's what they told me...

"Thank you for sending us your inquiry. We would like to inform you that your document is still negative at our end. Please anticipate an SMS advise from us regarding its status and delivery schedule."

I saw your post and I did the same I called the USEM and I was told that 2GO will send me a text message as soon as they have my visa on hand. Did u call the number that ends on 9555? Some say that we can track our passport through the 2GO website using our MNL case number. Tried it but its invalid because they don't have it on their end. I figured Helen is right, due to thanksgiving I should only count last weeks transaction as if only 1 day has passed which is the 25th, and this week I only have 4 days because Nov 30 is a Philippine holiday. so good luck with my visa hopefully they release it by thursday, I am so ready to pick it up instead of waiting for delivery. I was just wondering why they said that your visa is not ready to be released yet. You were not advised to submit any documents right? I'm confused..I don't want to lose hope on not having to rebook my ticket. It's sad

Did you give the CO your intended move date?

Yes, December 8 would be the latest.

Don't count the 24th, it is a US holiday and the embassy in Manila was closed. (The embassy is also closed on Wednesday)

I also booked my ticket (well,my husband did) before I had my visa in hand. I'd wait a few more days before getting worried, since there are holidays and a weekend it's only been 1 working day since your interview. I'd also look into what you need to do to re-book your flight, just in case!

Thanks! I'm just so excited to see him. I will look into other dates with the same airfare hopefully there is a few on a Monday or Tuesday, because chef can't go on leave on weekends.

Is there anyone here who had their interview November 23, 2011 with their passport already? I'm sorry I'm so looking forward to have it this week because I already booked my ticket December 6 (I know it's not right but I was trying to get the discounted airfare). Now I'm a little nervous on having to rebook the flight because I don't have the visa with me. I called 2GO and they don't have my passport yet. It's been 3 working days already of course I counted November 24.

See above explanation. I've had nothing but good experiences with Korean Air. I know they'll take good care of my ladies. Besides, they're typically the cheapest flights in and out of Manila.

Well, I have good news and not so good news. Serena's CRBA is done - no more paperwork until it's time to file AOS. The embassy did not ask for a DNA test. The not-so-good news is that they told Amy that she'll have Serena's US passport in 3 to 4 weeks. My travel agent says that there are no available flights from Manila after December 17 until January.

Hi Ray! Uhm maybe you can try booking with Asia Travel, I'm sure they have seats available after the 17th of December. It might be a little expensive but of course its also reasonable somehow because of the holidays

Hi May filers! Its been a while and I havent visited the site. I just did so I can update our timeline. Anyway I got approved today and my approval was creating a stir on some of the June filers. Here is our timeline. We never had any expedites, its pure luck. Those who see my previous posts actually know that my fiance and I are not expecting to get this done quick. I guess VSC is now working a little faster. We are May filers, for some reason VSC took time to open our case and sent us NOA1 in June so some might be thinking we are from June. So anyway don't lose hope. God is good!

Hi! I am actually a May filer but somehow VSC sent acknowledgement for our case in June 8, My fiance received a text message tonight that VSC has approved us and it was dated September 1. I guess VSC is finally picking up the pace. I'm sure everyone will get their approval soon. We never had any expedite just pure luck..and actually we gave up on the process and was thinking of other ways if there are any.
