aaand still waiting.........what the heck is going on?!

aaannnd nothing here either. We've put in several service requests. Our AP/EAD expires in September......UGH. What is going on here! I guess at least i'm not the only one, not that I wish this on anyone lol.

And i just noticed that I wrote, i didnt send the ds-230 until i had everything...lol not true. I had MOST of my things together, but not everything. SEnt the DS-230 anyways and had plenty of time to get the rest of the items in order before the interview happened

And if for some odd reason there was a date available really soon and you didn't have anything together, they let you choose your date. You could pick a later date if you feel you need more time. So, i say do it! lol

applying for the ssn was super easy and we got it in the mail this past monday (a week before they said we should get it). As far as driving goes....technically you can drive with your italian license, BUT you are not covered by insurance which is a big no no. You wont be covered until you are married. At least thats the way i understand it

Are you guys all ready for the interview? Its next week, right? I'll let you know exactly how everything went for FAbio. I'll see him tomorrow sometime and get all the details. If you have specific questions, let me know, and i'll get the answers from him. That way you don't have to be stressed/wondering about anything.

As far as time, make sure you fill out the white paper that they give you on the plane...fabio ended up being the last person out. They made him go to a different room and go through a little interview where they looked at his 'do not open' envelope. I think you'll be ok, just REALLY try to get towards the beginning of the line! lol I'll say a little prayer while im workin...

Can't believe its finally here! He got the visa today and will be arriving here on SATURDAY! Thats like 3 days from now! and i haven't seen him since march

Congrats on your successful interview!!! Did they give you the visa right away or are they mailing it to you? Lol, i only ask because my man has his interview this coming wednesday! Oh, and did you have to fill out anything on your medical papers before going to the medical exam or does the doctor do all of that for you?

Did they give you two envelopes? One big one, full of papers that says do not open, and one thin white one from the medical exam? Maybe its just his xray....lol we have no idea and dont know if we should open it or not! Did you get a copy of your completed vaccination records at the medical exam? Fabio tried, and they wouldnt give him a copy.

Did you guys call or anything to keep up with the status of everything? i'm getting antsy.... So far, i filed, and waited. I didn't call at all

Fabio just chose english because he found it easier to explain some things. Points wont be deducted if you do the interview in italian Fabio just has very good english.......and it seems like you do too
