Hello, When you call the NVC make sure to speak to an operator about your case, it can take awhile for it to be put into their system. For this DHL info, It does originate in Boston. You need to wait for an operator to tell you what day they sent your case to your embassy, then you take that date and track your package to the embassy through DHL.com. That way you will know when your embassy received it, you then can contact them after a few days to verify your info with them so they can get you onto your next step in this process. To Add: If you have been told the date they sent out your package to your embassy you can follow the instructions to see your package.

Its not working for me i tried like thousand times but its keep saying no result.my wife case was completed on july 8th 2011.i had to update my address cause i moved so my lawyer did that for me n we got email saying they updated my address and our interview its on 26th august on same email but no hard copy so far.anyway u got dates so can you do your magic thing for me please to track where is my case .And ya country its going to is pakistan

Hi, I was going crazy calling NVC everyday and I had given up when I had saw this on a post from another person and decided to give it a try. I went to www.dhl.com clicked Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what you think your's might have left NVC

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A

* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Egypt / You Choose your Country

The day I was trying this I saw a package had left for Egypt. I thought could that be our's? I called the NVC and I was told our package had gone out. The one I had saw was our's I was so happy. I just checked our's it's at the Sorting Center in Egypt now, it's moving fast

Someone with the example date I made up above for the country of Egypt has a package going to Egypt now as you will see if you try this.

I request for my change of address to NVC and today i got e-mail saying they update my address and also interview date for my wife is on august 26th and cool part is this is also my date of birth.I'm very happy today MashALLAh,,,,,, i thanks every vj's family who helped me a lot i wish all of you very best and pray for all of you guys.one final help and request is to please wish me and my wife good luck and pray for us that everything goes fine with your prays and God blessing's.

my case was completed on july 8th and i got e-mail today that my wife interview is on 26th august but every country has different timeline i think.

they may still do one final review but your pretty well set.... we had our case complete on may 3rd and got interview letter @ may 16 for june 15th. Now we are stuck in ap but we are at the final stretch... good luck and im glad to see you finally got to this point!

Co-sponsor can be any one does not have to b ur relative as long as he is green card holder or citizen and have enough income to sponsor you he can do it.

This is my lawyer's number 210-590-1844 i have been his client for almost last ten years for different things he's immigration lawyer very good i live in KY and he's in TX we do it everything over the phone his name is Joseph de mott.

Does anybody know how long it usually takes after submitting I864 and ds230 to the NVC for them to process the case and send it to the embassy in Pakistan ? they don't have time tables or anything in their website ? just wondering .

I am a British citizen married to a US citizen, we have a legitimate relationship dating back to my college years which were here in the US. I am in the middle of AOS for a Green Card based on our marriage and am worried that me expiring passport is going to be an issue.

I am currently waiting approval(or not) and have everything filed. i have returned one RFE with the correct things and am now waiting. My fear is that my passport expires in October of 2011. What do I need to do about this? Any help would be appreciated.

Your passport has to be valid before or at the interview day so just keep a track

In about 2-3 weeks from sending out your packages, NVC will review them. If no RFEs, then they'll close the case. You can find out either by calling the AVR and hearing the message, or call an operator and ask if your case is closed.

Then, after your case is closed, your case will be put into queue for an interview date to be scheduled. Depending on your consulate/embassy, this can take either a few days or a few weeks for your interview date to be scheduled. Once it is, you'll receive an email (if you gave email addresses over to NVC) with the interview letter.

Within a few days after an interview date being scheduled, your case will be shipped to the consulate/embassy. You can find out when the case left either by calling the AVR or by calling an operator.

I have forwarded the packet to the attorney, however being that you sponsored your parents, the poverty guideline increased to 27,937. I noticed that your w-2 amount is lower than what your adjusted income is. The adjusted income on your income tax form is 30,567 and the amount on the w-2 is 27, 500. The attorney will revise and let me know if you do qualify.

I applied for my parents 2 yr ago my mom got approved and she just got her visa valid till oct.i was married and my joint income was 36000.00. and we got div .n my dad case is on AP.and just got married last yr and my 2010 W2 income is 27500.00 and other rental income was for 3000.00 so I'm sending my papers to NVC for my wife so do u guys thinks its enough income for me to support Sponsor my wife do you think they will accept this income...THANKS

Ok just find out i supposed to make 27937.00 and i made 27500.00. but my 1040 income is 30,000 cause i get rent income which brings my total to 30k and my w2 income is 27500. so do they go by 1040 or w2.plus my parents already approved but havnt came yet are they gonna count them too.really need some one to explain me plz

I had a similar question relating to income for sponsorship earlier today. On one of the responses I got back, I was told your income has to meet the guide for 2011. Here's the link, I found it helpful.

The designation means to use it for work you have to have a green card or EAD to go along with it. Your S S card can be used for all the other things you mention.

yes i believe this will say on your card untill you're not citizen but you can use your SSC anywhere anyother person can use.

We got my nadra's birth certificate and marriage certificate . My dad is going to foreign ministery located in Lahore to get police certificate signed and attested . Do we need to get nadra related documents to be attested by foreign ministery ? I'm asking this question because we don't have foreign ministry office where we live and Lahore is like 10 hour by road drive . Your comment will be highly appreciated .

I did infect i made a copy of each doc's and attested foreign misistery stamps and also original's .I dont know if its required but just to be save side.i just paid my both bills and INSHALLAH i will send everything next week.

hi justfriend no your wife need 2 police certificate from each address one police certificate is from your wife parent home at the age of 16 and other police certificate is from her husband current home address where she leave 5 month after marriage remember one thing when you fill your wife police form dont forget to fill exact month and date when your wife first time come to your parent home the police certificate requirement is only start from the age of 16
