  1. hi im sending the aos for my wife. she was married and had a conditional green card she worked with it for about five months before she left her ex husband and went back to nicaragua i got her over here on a k1 and my question is am i renewing her permission to work or am i applying for the first time? also we don't have any documents from when she worked i was just going to state when she work it was on a conditional green card and give the dates on a separate paper.

    thanks stu

    moon that spells aos

  2. hi all my fancee was married before to a us citizen he adopted her child in nicaragua .nicaragua is not part of the hague convention and as far as i know he didnt file any paperwork in the usa to have them reconize the adoption.

he filed a i130 for my fancee and the child when they divorced before removing conditions they went back to nicaragua and lost there permant resdents.

first when filling out the DS 156 question 37. i put father is a us citizen was that correct?

Will i have any problem with this at the interview i saw a question yesterday about having a us citizen father?

the child will come over on a k2 this time.

when she is here will the ex husband have the right to see her in the divorce from georgia he has visitation but there is the hague convention so im thinking he has no rights to her except in nicaragua?

thanks for the help i hope this will be over soon.

please move if in the wrong place.

  3. hi im still confused your timeline says you filed a i129 but you say you are married if you are married you cant file a i129.

i dont think they normaly give a second interview you were lucky to get it they can deny you for what ever they like the plane ticket will cost you a lot less time and money than filing a new petition if they still don't believe her because you didn't go. that is my opinion im going to her interview and i front loaded my petition it was over 100 pages of stuff. and you dont have a lot of pics and from what you have said none are romantic.good luck

  4. yes just what nica said everything you can get your hands on and if you can letters from both family's saying they know you are a couple and yes go to the interview you are lucky to get one do you not have anything showing pics of you kissing or emails that say i love you or other romantic things that is what they are looking for if they think you are just friend you will have problems good luck

  5. hi im i129 not i130 but all give it a shot

    1?

250-400 for medical for one person

350 for the interview fee one person not sure if this is for the i130 but i think its for all visa interviews

2? i would get original documents from the Managua central registry i would get started on this now these are the only ones the embassy will take and you may need these for later in the usa for different reasons and make copies for the interview or they my take the originals.birth, marriage divorce all the documents you think you will need get them now.

3? yes she will need a new one for the interview they are good for 60 days.

    hope this helps

  6. hi first sorry for your bad news

yes check in the Honduras portal im sure they will help for the police report.also call or email the Honduras consulate in the usa to question what is needed and there is one form for when you cant get a police report i don't remember where it is ask around on this website this should have been done well in advance

trust me i know about set backs in this process.

also your timeline and what you said does not match you are married but you filled a i129.

did you not have a usa bank account where you can show you money you took out in the town you lived in.

and you haven't been to see her since summer of 2010?

how many pics from 2009 and 2010 i have 30 of us from my last 2 week trip.

what about chat or video call logs? im taking 35 over 4 months?

if you were married how many pics from the wedding are her family and yours in them and letters from your and her parents saying they know you are a couple?

cards and emails saying how much you love each other?

receipts from going and pics going on romantic dinners or trips?

receipts for the engagement/ wedding rings?

if you fix your timeline and tell me more if you are married or not and more about you relationship i think the Nicaraguan members can help you more

  7. hi ashley my girl got her old marriage certificate in about 1 or 2 days by going to the central registry ok so what you send to uscis was the marriage from the town you married in and the service will take the marriage document to verify it there and get one from the central registry i would take the one from the town to the interview and they will probably just ask you to comeback when you have the one from the central regestry or the may just approve with that one good luck

  8. hi ashley will you be going with him? ive been through Miami and Atlanta lots of times cant say if the he will be treated bad at the immigration part. for Miami it is very busy and is under construction you really have know how to get around because it goes every which way the planes are normally on time no delays you need at least 5 hours for a layover to be safe because you have to check you bags again and go through security again customs is normally fast ive gotten through in 10 minutes for miami american airlines is the plane. for Atlanta delta will be your plane they are normally cost more than AA Atlanta has the most air traffic in the world ive had a delay almost every time going to Atlanta and planes coming from there getting around is the airport is better customs is little slower than Miami i would say for layover 6 to 7 hours to be safe lots of restaurants to eat at in both  hope this helps

  9. We've actually spent almost every day together for the past 6 years living together in Europe

hi just something to add are you two residents of that country you could get married and do direct consulate filing check with the embassy to see the requirements the maybe cheaper and faster look into that beats spending time apart  also you may need to get a few police certificates from different country's i would get started on that
