Hi, I'm from Mexico and had my interview 7/9, the consul told me too that it had been approved and just told me to check the status of the dhl via internet. My interview was on a Wednesday, I checked Thursday and Friday and there was nothing there, they updated it on Monday and I picked up the visa on Tuesday. I am telling you to relax, if they told you it was approved, then it is. They are apologizing on the site for visa delivery delays, and people at the Consulate or Servicio de Visas are known for not giving accurate information over the phone. They wouldn't just make the decision that some documents are missing and not tell you about it. I'm sure the visa is on it's way.

I cannot answer your question, but I am sorry to hear this happens. I am worried because you are the second VJ person whose fiance interviewed in CDJ last week and received 221g administrative processing. I hope someone has an answer for you. My fiance has his interview next week and none of this is boding well. They didn't tell you what documents were additionally needed on the phone? Did you ask them how you are supposed to find out? Did you go on the US-mexico-visa.com or whatever website and see if there is the waybill number?

@monyfer: hello, no they didnt thet told me we should received a letter with the information of what is missing OR the passport with the visa, but that they can see that there was this note

Hello I need some information if someone has been in the same situation...

Mi fiancé had his interview last friday 9/9, the consul told him his visa has been approved.... Since that day we have been waiting for an update on the dhl service but nothing... My fiancé didnt received anything from the consul and he wasnt asked for anything else or extra... So today I called the "servicio de visa de los estados unidos" for an update and gave them the case no. And they told me that the consul hasnt make any decision yet and that there was a note a 221g will means some documents are misssing (.??.?.?,!!!!) please help meeee what will the consul says you are approved and then ask for something else¡ He was there and he had tons of docs they didnt ask my fiancé for anything else i am so confused and sad we are planning on get marry on 11/3 and now what???

Please someone from Mexico, did you were able to see an dhl update right after the int?

Hello! I sent my fiance the same info, i was reading a post of someone from Bolivia and he said they ask him for the form 864, are you takibg that one with you too? ( in his case ge has a co sponsor)

My fiances interview its next friday so I woul like to know so i can send him a scan of the form at least

Is it OK to do ASC on the same day as the medical? It seems like most people do medical one day, ASC one day, and interview one day - but I would like for my fiance to do his medical and ASC in one day so we don't have to stay in Juarez too long. Is this OK? And is there any problem with the consulate getting the results by the next day in time for the interview? I read awhile back there were some instances where the consulate did not have the results.

Has anyone done ASC anywhere else outside Juarez? How do I find a list of offices outside Juarez to do ASC at? My fiance is in Queretaro. If we did it like a week before the interview, would that be enough time for the results to get to CDJ or is it better to do everything in Juarez?

Hi Monyfer as nikolacolada said you will get to choose, I dont remember seeing Qro (that will be a good option because my fiance lives in Irapuato) I think the closest to that area Gto-qro will be Mexico DF

what we did (according to the review I looked at) was to schedule the appt at 3pm so my fiance can receive his medical results at 2 pm and then go to the CAS

Wow, Ltapia, We also have our K1 interview on sept 9 @ 7:15am.

We will be in CDJ on sunday sept 4 since my fiancee has two children and they need to do medical monday (called clinic will be open Labor day) and wait till thurs to pickup results. ASC on wed. @ 1:40pm, interview friday.

Good luck...maybe we will see each other in the little waiting area on friday. Oh I just read your post again looks like only your fiancee is going to Juarez not both of you?

Hello everyone! I need some orientation about the CAS at ciudad Juarez.. we received our package 3 yesterday and today we scheduled the appt at the consulate in CDJ we could not wait one more day to do it! but we have a question!!!

First the interview will be on Friday sep 9th @ 7.15 am and we had to schedule also an appt at the CAS: Ciudad Juarez ASC (?????) so we did it, and we schedule the appt for Thu sep 8th @ 3pm

so the CAS appt its different than the medical appt right?

we planned as follow:

My fiance will fly into CDJ on Wed sep 7th, he will get there around 6pm

on thu sep 8th he will go to get the medical done 6 am he will be in line

on thu sep 8th @ 3 pm he will go to the CAS (???) could you please explain me what will happen at this appt

on fri sep 9th @ 7.15 he will go to the interview

on saturday he will fly back home

please help me understanding whats about the appt at the CAS

We are waiting for our invitation letter so we can schedule an interview @ the cosulate inm cdj for our k1 fiance visa.

I live in Dallas and I would like to go to Juarez with my fiance ( I know I wont be able to be with him at the consulate)anyways... My plan its to fly into El Paso, but then I dont know how to get to Ciudad Juarez, does anyone know if we can just take a taxi and the taxi will be able to get into Juarez or I will have to go just to the border cross it and then take another taxi (I wont be felling safe doing this honestly)? well any comment will be appreciated.

I was finally able to talk with a human and they told Ciudad Juarez received my approved case for the K1 fiance visa on July 6, do you know how long it will take to receive the invitation letter from the consulate?

thank you ! I called NVC again and now I have the invoice # and the benef #.

They told me that on July 6th they sent my case to Ciudad Juares.

Still cant get an answer from Ciudad Juarez only recording machines.

so I wont received anything from the NVC where I can see those number? only by calling I will get the numbers?

Hello, I would like to know if someone from Mexico has a phone no. I can call at the cd juarez consulate to ask them If they received my k1 approved file? I called NVC las week and they told me they sent my case to CDJ and they gave me my case no. (starting with CDJ AND THEN 10 NUMBERS) I tried to call 01152 456-22-7300 and 703-439-2310

another question... after the NVC send my file to Cd. Juarez, I have to receive a letter right? where I can see my case no.? (because the operator read my case no on thephone but I dont have a letter or anything)

Hello, I would like to know if someone has been in the same situation… I called uscis this morning to check the status of my petition ( I received my NOA1 on march 3rd , I know its been less that 5 months but I call them every month just to see if there is different information that the shown in the uscis website), she asked me when was the last time I called so I told her one month ago, and she read the same information that I can see in the website, then she asked me when I received my NOTICE OF ACTION ( At that moment I though she was referring to my NOA 1 but then I though she might be asking me about NOA2 because she also asked me if I received a biometrics appointment) so I told her that I haven’t and she asked me again when was the last time I call, and then she said: “since more that 30 days have passed I will go ahead and put a services request for you” and she did it!!! She gave me my service request number and told me to call in 30 days, but now I am worried because according to all the posts that I have been reading in here you can not get a service requests before the 5 months, but why she was able to do that? And when they go ahead and check on my petition they will see that I have been waiting only for 3 months, can they think something bad about this? Anyone ??? Please help !!! let me know what you think about this! I don’t want to be “punish” for this I did not ask for a service request I just wanted to know the status of my case and I just got confused!!!!!!!! HELP
