Hi all
Well we had our AOS interview today in Orlando, FL.
It went fine, no problems.
Arrived at 8.30am, allowed straight in, no need to wait in line. Sat down, waited until 9am and we were called - right on time!!!
Nice lady who was easy going. Asked for driver's licenses from both of us, both my EADs, travel doc, passport and social security number.
She confirmed all the info on our forms. Asked for my medical info.
Asked for our 2005 Tax return, did not want an updated Affidavit of support though. We filed our AOS in August 2004.
She asked me the normal questions about prostitution and having more than one husband.
Then asked my husband my parents names, if he had met them, how he and I met. Strange as I am the Brit, he was asked all the questions!!! Maybe it was because he is 18 years older than me!
Then she asked for mortgage info, bills with both our names on, evidence of our correspondence as we met 8 years ago also she asked for telephone bills which I had kept from 2002!!!
Then she said she was approving us, congratulated us and then shook Tom's hand and congratulated him!!
All was fine, I had stressed about it and now it was for no reason!!
She did not ask for letter from employer or pay stubs.
Glad it is over. The one frustrating thing is that it is 17 days until our 2 year wedding anniversary. So the USCIS decided that they will make another $205 of us in 2 years time when we remove the conditions! Oh well!! At least I am a perm resident now!
Green card should be here within a month!!
This has been a great website for me, it has given me so much info when I needed it.
Good luck to everyone who is going through this process. There is an end to it!!

I could hardly believe it when I opened the envelope!!
Our date was Aug 2004, we have our interview on June 12th.
It will be 2 weeks before our 2 year wedding anniversary - so I am wondering if they will give a 2 year or 10year card - what do you think?
Just so excited though - it seemed like this day would never come!!
Wanted to encourage those of you who are also going through the slow Orlando office
Good luck to you all who are still waiting!

Hi Terri
I'm not sure what the procedure is for K3. With the K1 if more than a year had passed since my medical in London I had to have a medical in order to get the I693 (?) form. Another waste of money!!
Does anyone who is on the K3 know about this to advise Terri?
