    I'm off to my future parents in law's house for the week to get everything ready to have the wedding at their estate next saturday. I'm gonna miss my baby, but when we come back home together we will be married!!

    It's my birthday this monday. Baby seems to have prepared a weekend full of activities. :) I think the first birthday without my family wont be that bad... :)

      Good evening! I SO agree about fast food service...lol Breakfast was a pleasure at good old Pollo Campero! I always think about what Byron's reaction will be while in a Walgreen's or CVS pharmacy -- SOOO different than locked-up hand cream at La Torre! The greeting part makes me laugh because I have worked for Marriott for 17 years and so I DO say Good Morning, etc...to EVERYONE LOL Byron says I'm the friendliest American ever in GUATE....ha! Great update....

    I called DOS today and Good News! Our papers arrived in Guatemala Yesterday. Hopefully just a few more days of processing and Eduardo can call and set up his interview!

      I'm so excited to be able to write that same sentence in about 8 weeks! Byron says the rainy season in GUA as REALLY been rainy. It will be interesting to watch his face in Tucson and Phoenix...112 degrees and DRY - so very dry. lol Keep enjoying your weekend!

      I hope you can SKYPE with your parents sometime...I bet they would love to see you.

      I do have a question to - Will Byron take the medical results with him to interview or does the doctor send them to the embassy? I think he will just take the results with him...just curious. Only 47 more days until interview! I am flying into GUA on 10/12 and then I'll get to do POE with him....so happy---so excited---so nervous!

      lol - I am in a CRAZY hurry -- you know how it feels! I think it is a fantastic idea for Byron to call --- just wanted to get your opinion! Did you call the number on the VJ embassy info, or did you have to call the interview line phone number?

      It feels SO close, but I know I need just a bit more patience.....uggh waiting -- lol

      Hello! SO happy to see your update. After 2 weeks our packet has now really(really!) left NVC. It left last Friday, August 5th. Should Byron call the embassy or does he just have to wait for the letter/packet at his home? Again, so happy to see your happy update! Carla

      Yeah for gifts! :-) I checked today and our papers are still at NVC - we have a real case #, however, they "just haven't been shipped yet" waaahhh...

      Papers are on their way to Guatemala as of yesterday! Now....just to get an interview time quickly. Byron's has made a really sweet little book about our relationship....I'll be happy to have it as a keepsake. I'm getting so anxious..Byron is really good at staying focused and calm..lol Have fun packing!

      I'm with you -- I live in Tucson and my NOA2 email came on 6/27, however, no letter, no NVC knowledge....ughhh...It is so hard to wait.
