  1. the A number is issued with the approval of the I-129f. From now on, that is his A number. It was OK to leave it blank before you had it.

what documents are you preparing? If they are for something that will occur after the issuance of the A number, then YES you should include it.

I'm working on the adjustment of status right now, he's here in the states and we're getting married in a week so I want to have everything all ready. Thanks for making me feel better!!!!!

The A number is the number beginning with an A on the NOA2.

    Thanks!!!!

  2. Hey Everyone,

I am preparing the paperwork for my fiance was leaving blank all of the spaces where is asks for his A number. I was okay with this based on what has been written on Visajourney before, however, when I was looking over the Approval notice for the I-129f I saw that above his name there is in fact an "A" number and it seems to be in the same format that the forms autofill. I went back and added the number thinking that it must be his "A" number, but now I'm not so sure. Any thought? I'm wondering if I should re-do everything and take it off or should I just leave it and assume that it is in fact his number.

    Thanks, feeling a bit nervous!!!!
