  1. Her visa expired the moment she entered the US.

You can try contacting the US Embassy in Sarajevo and ask nicely if they could email you the copy of approval notice (should be in your files).

Otherwise, search through these forums and see what others in your situation have done.

    THanks for the quick reply,

WEll i dont have any files, they took everything except her passport at port of entry. I dont even have a copy of the medical Exam..

she came in on June 19, 2011

So im thinking i dont need to file that form at all, since it says if its less than one year from Doctors Examination.

  2. Hello everyone,

I have a little situation here,

My finace came to the states on a K1 Visa, We married on August 5th infront of a judge.

By now her i94 Expired, and her Visa Expires by the end of the month.

I was about to submit the I-485 but on the checklist it says to submit copy of approval letter, I dont have this.

ALL I have is a Email from E-Notification that says Status :Post Decision activity

Will this EMAIL Print out be enough, if not, how do i obtain a copy of the approval letter.

    Thanks so much,

    Edin.

  3. 1. Your "household" is essentially how many people you are financially responsible for. Are you financially responsible for those 4 people in your family? Do you claim them on your taxes?

For example, I live with 3 other people here in my home (roommates/friends). I don't claim any of them on my taxes because they all work and provide for themselves. None of them are in my "household" because I'm not financially responsible for any of them. My household size is 1 (me) - and 2 (me and my fiancee) on the I-134.

    2. Bank account info, assets, 401k, life insurance, etc - is only relevant when your income doesn't meet the requirement. You don't need to fill this out if your income is sufficient.

    3. If you use anyone elses income to "co-sponsor" your fiance/e - that co-sponsor will need to fill out their own I-134, sign it, and provide their own documentation to show their income is sufficient enough to provide for THEIR own household (dependents/etc) - plus your fiance/e.

Ok great thank you for the prompt response.

    so for

1.) no i do not claim any of them or support them directly - - i contribute a % to the the household bills.. but thats about it

2.) Based on the fact that i do not support any of them, do i need to base everything on the fact that its a house hold of 1.) and therefore my earning requirement is only $13,300

3.) I would imaging if i wrote a letter explaining that i live with my parents in a traditional manner (as all people in my country do). and that they are all employed.. making X amount of Dollars, etc... And send their proof of income as well

I would imagine that would not hurt in any way... EXtra info cant be bad.

It seamed to help me on my K1 packet.

  4. MERHABA LLJUDI :) hehe

  5. Finally my K1 was approved on April 25, 2011 --- I WAS SOOO EXCITED, tried to wake up my finacee but she was sleeping like a rock. LOL

    Anyway, several questions..

I live with my family, traditional for my country, We all work..

I currently make about 32,000 per year. I do not pay any rent, i have about 7,000$ in savings, and i have Life insurance for about $75,000 and 401K has about $12,000 in it..

however last year i only made $23,000 since i took a few months off to travel.

    My questions are as follows.

1.) do i need to submit proof of income for the rest of the household since it is a house hold of 4 currently, and the 125% poverty level is at $27,000 So technically i missed it.

2.) do i need to put my 401K in the Affidavit of support, it asks for investments in stocks/bonds... and all of my 401K is vested in stocks/bonds.

3.) if i include the rest of the households income, do i need to make them co-sponsors, and if so how would that work...

a.) is it still the same form, and what addtional info do i need to send with it (Statements, Bank Ballance, Birth Certifacates?? any body know)>>

Please help, i want to get this going asap.

Thank you so much, THis forum is great... and so are the people. )

  6. Thanks for the quick response.. i have been trying to research.. but not really much info out there on the SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA CONSULATE..

I already have most of my basic information

12 months of deposit records from bank

    Bank Statement with account balance

submitting 2 years of W-2 (im not self employeed though).

My Boss agreed to write a letter for me stating my position, time with company, and of course that my position is full time.

and then i was going to send about 2-3 months of pay stubs.

    my 401k balance.

  7. Ok so i submitted my K1- 129F packet on 11/16/2010 to the Vermont Service Center.

    I received NOA-1 on 11/18/2010.

Im expecting to get NOA-2 within the next month or so...

Should i wait for that or should i go ahead and send Affidavit of support ahead of time so that i do not have to wait...

Input please. let me know how you guys did it.. did u send it with initial packet..

also does anyone know how i should do the affidavit of support.. i do not have any dependents, my house hold size is currently 4 and we are all employed. my income is about $37,000 before taxes.

do i need to bother with including the rest of the house hold in my affidavit, or am i required to.

THank you very much in advance.
