Use the I-134. The I-184 is for when you adjust status after you are married. I used a cosponsor as well and everything went smoothly. Wedding prep is going well, we've been planning it since may (with our fingers crossed that the visa process went smooth) so we have most things figured out like venue and stuff... now its just the small stuff like choosing music, bridal shower, etc

If the documents are in Italian, they do not need to be translated, because everyone at the consulate knows italian. So, unless you have a document in a language other than italian or english, it will need to be translated.
I think documents need to be translated from italian to english for when you adjust status after you are married though, but we haven't started to worry about that...

A few days earlier than that were options for us. I'm guessing that they don't do interviews on Mondays, since your medical exam us usually scheduled for the day before. Probably they make most interview appointments for the middle of the week, but that is just a guess. Hope things are going well for you! Good luck!

I'm not sure exactly about the days they have interviews... My fiance was the one who called to schedule it, but it sounded to me like they tell you a few days that they have available and you have the option of choosing. Our interview is on wednesday the 12th, but I know that a few days earlier than that we...
