the DAS certificate is the same as the pasado judicial and it has to be less than 30 days old. and the sealed package from the DAS is the certificado migratorio. they are 2 different things.

no we don't have a sealed envelope yet. Daniel is picking up the passport/visa tomorrow at domesa... assuming we will get everything we need from them.

go to this website http://www.certificadojudicial.gov.co/
fill it out and you can print right then. Its super easy so why not have it.

Hey! They did not "ask" us for the DAS certificate but it is a required document. I can tell you how to get it. Better to have it than not.

Hi! The official answer is that you do not have to be there at the interview. they did not ask me any questions. however, i understand that it is MUCH BETTER if the petitioner is there. it says a lot for you to be there. its the biggest proof of your relationship I think. but, no, you do not officially have to be there.

yes thats exactly what we did. you can download the forms off of their website, as soon as you confirm the embassy has your case, send the forms via email and they will send you back confirmation, and let you know that they will be scheduling your appointment and sending you the packet 4. if you have more questions, let me know!
