    Another update received from USCIS that the GC has been delivered on February 4. GC in hand! Thank you God! Won't have to deal with USCIS for another 1 year and 9 months...:)

    Patty got her driver's permit yesterday. She only missed 4 out of 36 questions. Now starts the fun part of teaching her how to drive!

      Thank you! I had no regret with serving in the USAF. I wouldn't trade it for anything. It is largely in part what made me who I am today. Good luck to you guys!

      @ Visajourney2011...it isn't "the" drivers license...it is just the permit...but hopefully, it will be the drivers license once she passes the behind the wheel driving test God willing!

    Received an update from USCIS. Interview here we come on January 27, 2012 for AOS. Hopefully, it is Sacramento office instead of San Francisco. I don't like going to San Francisco because of traffic. May be the EAD/AP card will come soonish!!! Happy Holidays everyone and God bless!!!

      @jeanb84...we were notified through email and then we checked the USCIS website. A few days later, we received the appoitment letter from USCIS.

    Still waiting for our case number from NVC and got our NOA2 last July 21.

      Just keep calling them everyday. You will get it soon. Then everything goes by quick after that. It took 33 days for us for the case #,but once we got it on 7/27, Patty has done everything already and she is scheduled for interview Aug 16. I will be arriving in PI Aug 14 to accompany her at the interview and to bring her with me to San Francisco on Sept 2. Godd luck on the rest of your journey and God bless!

    Hello guys!I'm a new user here...I have few questions regarding the K-1 visa...My main concern is,Does the long period of relationship does matter for the visa to be approve?We started getting to know each other on october 2010,met in person jan 12, then he filed the Fiancee Visa petition Feb 05,does it really matter?? though we have a bona fide relationship?Guys please help!!

      It doesn't matter as long as you can prove you have a bonafide relationship. I met Patty May 2010, saw her in person Oct 2010, filed K-1 petition Apr 2011, Interview Aug 16 2011. I will be there for the interview.

      @maria6...Yay! Yes you can schedule online as long as you have your MNL case #. Pay the Visa fee, Friday am jan, then schedule online Friday night or Sat morning! That is what I did!

      Just keep calling NVC everyday. Our NOA2 is 6/24 and just got the case # yesterday. You'll get it soonest!!!

      @mariarob1...great news! Patty paid 15,050. Once paid, schedule online the next day for interview. There are still plenty of slot for August.
