We are stuck in additional processing also. I call everyday and get the same response. I asked yesterday if it is just in "Additional Processing" or "Administrative Processing." Just stuck in additional with no timeframe. SUCKS!!! The current average is 4 days to move from NVC for fiance visa and many are in and out in one day! I don't know why some take longer but I feel if I keep calling I could upset the wrong person and they could make our papers take even longer. Oh well, I guess we just wait. I wish you luck and hope the NVC forwards the papers to the embassy soon.

My fiancee lives in Ukraine and has a 5 year old son from a previous marriage. They split up before the child was born. The Father has never seen or talked to his son even though the boy still carries his last name. We have been trying to locate him unsuccessfully. Last we heard he went somewhere in Russia for work. How do we get consent from someone we can not find? What is the best approach to this matter?
