not much trying to figure out what to do just like you are. so far i have called the embassy in damascus and they told me that they are routing visas to amman. i called the NVC and they said it's too late to file an I-824 (the 400 dollar form). the embassy in damascus told me that after they recive it i could request for it to be transfered to another embassy if the other embassy agrees ......

on the letter it gives you the option of filing the change of embassy form for 400 dollars but i been trying to get in touch with the embassy in syria to ask maybe a combined effort between us will help. i called today and they told me to call again on sunday. im also trying to contact the national visa center and try to get the 400 dollars waived since it's not our fault.

hey there. i finally got the approval but the embassy in syria is not processing visas so im stuck in a loop trying to figure out what to do. it cost 400 dollars to change the embassy.
