    Well I just called ankara. They told me they are just waiting for his passport to issue his visa.

    Got the visa today!!!! SO happy this part is finally over and he will be here with me!!!

      ...exactly at the time they open the phones. I figured out that the consular extension is 7005, so instead of having to wait through all of the recordings and number-pressing BS, as soon as the phone picks up just press 7005# and it will direct you to the consulate. Then just tell them you would like to know the status of your husbands visa case. Hope this helps. Good luck :)

      Thank you everyone... we bought his ticket he will be coming April 23rd :D

      The number to the embassy in Ankara is (90)(312) 455 5555. They only accept phone calls Mon-Thu from 3:30pm-4:30pm (Turkish time). Not sure what time zone you are in, but for me that meant that I had to call sometime between 8:30am-9:30am. When you get to the consular section they may not answer right away so you may have to call again. I have had to call like 20 times before. I suggest calling exactly at th...

    Called the embassy today and after weeks of waiting I was told that Kemal's visa was printed and issued yesterday so he should receive it either today or tomorrow!!! Thank you Allah I can finally breathe again!!!!

    Kemal's interview went okay... got a green refusal sheet meaning we just need to submit one document then they should issue the visa... can't wait for this to be over!!
