I lost my GC in the Dominican Republic and to get back to the US I need a boarding foil, but there is no information on how to obtain one in the web page of the embasy located in Santo Domingo. Is there any information from somebody that have gone through the process?

Did they contact you already or are you still waiting? the reason I'm asking is because the same thing happened to me a day later and they told me they will call me back within five days...If they did contact you can you tell me what did they say?

I just got the EAD one day before my birthday (perfect birthday present right) but instantly i realized that the DOB in the card was incorrect instead of February 19th they put 16th I checked and saw i did send the correct info in the forms but i still want to know how can i make this right what do i do now?

I hope you get it, i know about the california center but what i dont understand is why they send it back to them from the State Department.

My wife and I sent the AOS package on December 20,2011 and the status from the USCIS web site are always correct when they touch it. They sent the case to California center to speed up the process and when i research everybody was telling this is very good but now in the web site the status is:

"On January 18, 2012, a USCIS office received this case from the State Department with a request that we review it. We will notify you when we complete our review, or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."

I dont know what to believe or what happen or if this is good or bad.

If somebody could say something about it i will appreciate it very much.

Thank you very much for the information provided but thank to the Lord i found it, it was in my car in a very tricky place under the drivers seat, i did look there before but the way i did it didnt let me see it so i went again and again (4 times today) and i found it along with a debit card that was also lost, thank you again for the good wishes.

After applying for EAD, AP and AOS i lost my passport (i don't know where is it or where i put it or if somebody took it) i already checked the whole house but is nowhere to be found, my questions would be:

1. Is this going to affect my petition of AOS based on a K-1 visa, i already have NOA 1, Biometrics appointment (done), and a letter stating that my case was transfer to california.

2. To the dominicans, how can i get a passport from the dominican republic? My current location is San Antonio, Tx

3 Do I have to go to the police department and what would be my id in the mean time?

Im the USC from Dominican Republic, we live in SA and going through the AOS.

i get all that, but the question i have is that they ask for certificado de buena conducta and then the police report isnt that the same.

I already called the visa center and they gave me my case number and told me they sent the case to DR on May 25th, they gave me the number to call the embaassy but it does not work. This is the number they gave me 8092212171 but every time i call them the call gets disconnected right when i get to the option of talking about an specific case. I dont know what to do right now, does anybody has a number or what i should do?

Yes man, be patient because most of them are over 3 month, mine was average and took 126 days, i am a January filler.

She is waiting with me the beneficiary in my country, the country where the interview is gonna take place, i went to the us embaassy for DR site and only tells me the things i as a beneficiary have to take to the intervieww. but if she doesnt have to bring anything, cool then. Thank you.

I need to know or to haave a list of the things the petitioner has to get for the interview, she is coming for two month to wait for the interview with me so we want to know what to get to be ready for the interview. Thanks

Thank you soo much for your answer, and i saw that the timeline is for 3 month, this is after the embassy gets the petition or since noa 2, the reason im asking this is because we want to know if we are gonna be able to have the wedding in sept 30th.

after the embassy send me the package, how would i know my interview date, do they assing it or do i have to send documents for them to do it? thanks in advanced.

My fiancee came to a mission trip on june of 2010 in which we talk and spent time together for a week then after that we started chatting and skyping and she decided to come for september, then october, november, dicember, february, march, may and now she is coming to spend the summer here with me in the dominican, we talk about marrying after like 3 month of meeting and got officially engaged on december 25.

January filler aswell and it took us 126 days, LONG DAYS but we finally got it, hang in there.....

Thank you very much, i am the beneficiary dominican born, the thing is that she is coming for the summer to wait for the interview here with me, would she have to bring something with her or is there a way to ask for the bank letter while she is in the dominican? thank you for your detailed answer.
