He went back down to the office and they are insisting he needs that number! Grrrr. Now he did enter on a student visa in august 2008 to study at a univerity here for a year. Technically that does not expire until 2013 but it would be illegal for him to use that if he wasn't actually enrolled in a scholl currently.

They right before he was going to leave for a second time they gave him a sheet of paper saying what number e needed. It starts with a N then has ten digits.

Hello. We just got married Sunday after my husband entered on a k1 visa. He went down to the social security office today to apply for a card and they told him they need the i-20. What is this? I have not heard of it before. Thank you!

He sent about his 20th email today and stopped being nice. He demanded it get changed and within half an hour they changed it to may 13 this friday!!!

We have tried that every single day and they don't seem to budge on may 19th

Our interview date is may 19th but our wedding is may 29th. Do you think his passport will be returned in time????

Hey guys! I have a few questions. Please help me out as we are trying to push this through as fast as possible. We are a bit confused about packet 3.

1. Could you please give me a detailed list of everything that needs to go into Packet 3 when we mail it off to the embassy? I am aware of the link but we are still unsure and confused by what gets sent and what gets taken to the interview. If you could please take the time to just type out what you have sent them that would be great!

2. A complete list of the things that need to be taken to the Interview.

3. What fees do we have to pay? Is the MRV/Visa/Interview fee all the same? When do we pay these? After packet 3 and before medical? Do we do it by phone or online? Number or link?

Hello. I mailed out my i129-f K1 Fiance Visa to teh Vermont Service Center and it was received on September 28, 2010. I have not received an approval yet. i called two weeks ago and they were processing filers from September 11, 2010. I called today because I was expecting it to be complete and they told me they were still on September 11, 2010.

Here is the major crisis. My wedding is May 29th!!! Two months. My fiance is from the UK. Do you guys honestly think that it will make it in time??

I am overwhelmed and do not know what to do. It is a month over normal processing times for Vermont. WE have spent close to $25,000 for our wedding. Will it be done on time or should I just prepare myself for canceling the wedding?!
