Once your case is approved and you have the NVC number, the package is sent to Lebanon the consulate will call your fiance in Beirut and ask him to go and pick up the packet. He will pick it up prepare everything they requested go see the doctor etc and then email them saying he is ready for his interview, they will email him an interview date and he will take all his documents to the interview...

Once the packet arrives in Beirut, the consulate will call and asks for you to pick your packet....in the packet it asks for you to prepare some documents, go see a doctor etc. Once you have all the documents they want ready to go...u will email them and they will assign an interview date to you then you take the documents with you the day of the interview

I am not sure what Packet 4 is (or what is in it) ...basically when his file made it to Lebanon they asked him to pick up a packet with all the documents that he needed to fill out or provide. He took all of them to his interview and provided them as they asked for them.

My Fiance is set to arrive at 8:00 a.m. tommorow morning....can you tell I am excited :)

I am getting so restless waiting for this NOA2....any sign of life from CSC would be nice....I still don't understand the rhyme or reason behind processing later applications before ours thats like reciting the alphabet starting with the letter p

Would love to get our NOA2 today please....it is extremely difficult watching people right before us and right after us get their NOA2's and ours is no where to be found....I love how they manage to process them out of sequence in preschool I think we learned 5 comes after 4 and 6 comes after 5

Oh when I looked at Igor's list everyone right before and right after you got an NOA2 maybe were not looking at the same thing but once you are near five months have your senator/congressman's number ready

Oh and it has to be worse for you...everyone else on Visajourney around you seems to have gotten their NOA2...that would stress me out even more

I haven't seen my fiance since August....if it wasn't for Skype, Msn Messenger, Blackberry Messenger I think I would be going crazy......hope to hear your good news soon :) I guess we can share notes about experiences with the consulate etc.

Oops I meant to say hear....oy....this process has got me all wound up..I check the USCIS site daily sometimes twice a day and Igor's list probably hourly....my friend who applied on November 9 got the NOA2 at the 5 month mark give or take a day or two that was 2 weeks ago.

The process has been stressful to say the least....when I applied I wasn't expecting it to take so long but it looks like California Service Center is getting through the applications more quickly the past week and a half or so. I am looking forward to getting the NOA2, scheduling the interview and finally having my fiance here. Hope both of us here some good news very soon.

Seems like were in the same boat waiting for the NOA2 we filed a few weeks apart.... ours is California Service Center and yours is Vermont. Hopefully everything will go smoothly and we both get our NOA's very soon and the visa as well. Good luck
