no news yet from uscis regarding adjustment of status for may filers.....someone sent his sometime in july and could u bliv dat his work authorisation is already at hand ......what is wrong with the month of may for may filers...i need urgent reply asap....anyone in d house who filed in may?????pls

my wife and i filed for AOS I-485 in may......we got our EAD work authorization in June, but haven't heard anything yet from USCIS regarding our green card status....a friend who had his biometric last week had already gotten his EAD work authorization in 5 days later/after.....i wanna know if any may filers heard anything yet from USCIS yet?

i filed for my green card and work permit at the same time, 2weeks ago, on my uscis status , the ball was on card/document production awaiting 30 days to be mailed to my address, but few days ago when i checked, the ball moved backward to post-decision activity.....i need clarification on these viewers.....and also, when i check timelines of people, their GC is usually approved a week after work authorization has been approved......

i did my biometrics exactly 3weeks ago, and i am yet to receive any notification concerning my work permit and green card... fellow VJAYS that have undergone these process, i need advise from u all on what to do, 'cos i heard from fellow vjays that a notification is always certain 2weeks after the biometric had been done confirming ordering of cards....why the delay ?....i need help pls

I was born in the year when Birth Certificates were the small ones...Based on previous comments from nigerian vjays, i found out that the birth certificates that were recognised overhere are the long ones,i need clarification please

is it a sworn affidavit or a long birth certificate....?

how do i start the process of securing the long one....?

Hi Good pple (VJAYS ).i need help from those who went through the US consulate in nigeria for assistance about their interview (K1 to be precise)....

1. Dress code on that day, how formal should it be?

2. How much or how less is one's supporting document

3. In a situation whereby one's petitioner was kinda married before,but now they're no more,they separated since 2008 but the divorce was finalised in 2010....4months later she filed for me,wouldn't it kinda raised a red-flag or sometin ?

4. she has visited me 2tymes in d last 1yr but we cant lay hold of any of her flight iteneries, except pix and copies of pages of her passport to show that she was in the country in the last 1yr, what do we do in that situation? she is coming for my interview too as well , at least i wil have that one in hand,what else do we need to convince the COs that we r real?
