    Vlad & I were married June 15th. It was a small beautiful wedding. We are working on his permanent residence papers now.

    Make sure you are prepared for your interview. Couple we met at embassy got denied their visa and they are already married. answer all the questions and be polite.

      why they denied? whats the problem?of thier papers?

      I don't know why they were denied. I know they made a comment about that they did not have enough pictures and was reluctant to answer the personal questions about sex.

    Vlad went ahead and picked up the Visa at the domex office today in Santo Domingo. We did not want to take a chance with the mail. It is ready in one week if you request to pick it up

      Congrats on getting your visa...just read your interview experience. They really asked you guys rough questions! Good thing you 2 were prepared.

      Vlad went ahead and picked up the Visa at the domex office today in Santo Domingo. We did not want to take a chance with the mail. It is ready in one week if you request to pick it up.

    Thank you everyone. Vlad did great and we got the visa. Yeah!!! I am so glad I found support on Visa Journey. I will post comments about the interview tomorrow. It took 9 hours but was worth every second.

    my fiancee just got his interview date. How long did it take to get the visa in the mail after it was approved? I am so stressed trying to figure out what date to book vlads plane tickets to come back to st louis with me?

    After you interview and the visa was approved how long did it take to get the visa in the mail? trying to make travel arrangements, it is difficult with planning a wedding.
