      Thank you! We sent the AOS packet on 8/15 and received our interview letter on 10/11, almost two months later. Our whole process went without a hitch, thank God, and we didn't use an attorney, just VJ throughout.

  2. Our interview is exactly a week from today, so excited and nervous at the same time. I actually had a dream that it already happened, and we got it approved on the spot in less than 10 minutes! Hoping that was a vision...

  3. It has been almost a month since any ativity and the silence is making me nervous...Did my Biometrics on 8/30, it is now 9/27, I know it is still too soon to worry, but still can't get my mind off it!! Case status unavailable online, so just playing the dreadful waiting game :-(

      Interview letter arrived in the mail today!! Dingdong!!! Interview is scheduled for 11/15/2011, exactly 90 days after I mailed in my packet. Keep us in your prayers, and keep drinking that coffee!lol

  4. Biometrics appointment 10/17/11. Moving along. We are grateful.

      I did a walk-in. The officer on duty pointed out that my appoinment was almost a month out, I told him I was aware of that however I will be unavailable on that date. He referred me to the MISinformation line to report this and request a new date, I told him that I had already spoken with them and they were fine with me walking in earlier, I would only have to reschedule if I needed a date later than the scheduled one. He reluctantly allowed me in, I was out in less than 5 minutes and my resu...

  5. Guys, the medical record is one of the requirements for AOS, Can we just get a Surgeon not accredited by the USCIS?

      Exactly as Harpa said, please do not go to anyone other than a USCIS Civil Surgeon, your application will either be rejected or you will receive an RFE if it gets past preliminary screening.
