    Getting ready for our interview next month, I'm exciting and scared at the same time because I plan to attend to interview even though my presence is not mandated, so I hoping that they wont grill us to much...

    I have yet to send packet 3 , it was mail to my fiance the 21 of June I'm waiting on some tax transcripts.

    Hello VJ family I was a few questions or concerns may be, I filed a k1 visa which was approved and it's at the consulate already. My concerns are before sending the package my 2 years was almost up , i haven't seen my fiance in 2 years i was in Haiti back in 2009, now my question is , is that going to be a red flag or do i need to be there for the interview , any response or suggestions...

    Okay I have one question and need some explanation plz, I filed for my fiance on March 2011 and we were approved within 69 days now , i haven't seen him for over 2 years now the last time i went to haiti was back in 09, now i want to know is that going to be a problem?

      You should have seen each other, in person, within the last two years of filing the petition. In what month of 2009 did you last see your fiance?

      I would think this definatly will be discussed in the interview. Have a good reason ready why you have not been together. They will want to know.

    yeah , i guess i called them and they did fix it , thkx anyway when i called them they had send the package to the Haitian embassy the same day

    not really my package was very simple, I had everything packaged and arranged very orderly and since we have been together for a long time, we both young and we had a lot of prove to show as far as a genuine relationship i guess those help really
