  1. You can go either before or after the interview. Your choice.

But I would say this though, that attending the CFO seminar after receiving the visa will definitely save you some times.

If you have the visa already, you wouldn't have to go back to get the sticker stamped.

    Good Luck!

agreed, my advice is wait till you receive ur visa ;)

  2. My stepdaughter and mother-in-law departed NAIA last month via Delta. I purchased their tickets using Expedia. They were not questioned regarding whose credit card was used. Of course, they just showed the etickets and boarding passes were printed for them.

I'm not sure why this would be an issue. I have heard that Philippine Airlines does not allow passengers to board if their ticket was purchased by someone other than the passenger. However, I don't think that other airlines, like Delta or Asiana, would impose that ridiculous requirement.

Anyway, I hope this helps you somewhat. As others have mentioned, it is best to have documents ready (photocopy of IDs, authorization letter, etc). Good luck with your trip!

thanks Markie, i already asked them to send me a photo copy of the credit card used, ID's and authorization letter in case they will look for it ... :)

  3. I bought my wife's ticket via Delta's Website with my credit card. When we arrived at the gate to check in this morning, they asked to see the credit card to confirm the numbers.

thanks for the reply guys, is a photo copy of the credit card used, ID's and authorization letter of my step father will do??

  4. hello guys, i really need some and tips also with regards of e-tickets of Delta Air.

I'm from the Philippines and our e-tickets was purchase by my Stepfather using his credit card, what do i need to present in Ninoy Aquino International Airport? need your thoughts and help guys ... thanks i advance :)

  5. Can someone please enlighten me on what's the new process on acquiring tourist visa? My mom in law got approved awhile ago for a tourist visa and they took her passport after that they were told to leave. while my father in law was told they need to decide further because of discrepancies on the date on his old and new passport and birth certificate.

after my mom in law was approved, they took her passport and they were told to go home...they didn't even ask her to pay visa delivery fee...how long does it take to get her visa? and is that the new process now?

    THanks!

does your mom fill-up a 2GO form? if she does i think the payment for the delivery is included in the payment of Visa fee... so she was not ask to pay anymore, as long she fill-up the 2GO form they will deliver it... btw 2GO is the new courier of USEM

  6. Hello guys! For anyone who's watching this thread, I found out today that my son's visa was approved yesterday. Our visas will get to us within 7-10 working days, hopefully. I called this number: (02) 301-2000 loc 5184 or 5185. This is the Immigrant Visa Unit at the Embassy. They can tell you the status of your case. Good luck, everyone!

    wow congrats !!!

  7. we are stuck in AP too, and Im just as worried as you are, so naturally we've done a lot of research. To me it sounds as though your AP time shouldnt be too long. They kept your passport which is a really good sign..If there are no missing documents then you should be fine. They may not be done in just a few days like we all hope but you will probbaly only be waiting a month or two versus 6 months to a year. Idk what country you are from but it makes a difference too. My husband is from Jordan so even though he provided all proof and paperwork he's going to be looked at because hes from the middleeast. Ive read more stories from people in Pakistan and they seem to have it the worst. Their waits tend to be a year or more unfortunately. We can only hope and pray!

i'm from the Philippines Ma'am, right now i just check the courier of Visa online and i found out that our visa is on transit right now, we're still waiting and hoping to receive it within this week :)

  8. No it was for my K1 visa. I did not have any problem bringing my kids here when it comes to documents. When

they asked u to provide more documents to submit to them,,they will check the white paper(221g at the bottom) what documents they want from u. If they didnt then just wait coz ur visa is on the way.

    i hope so Ma'am :)

  9. it was a month to be exact but like i said that was 5 yrs. ago. Nowadays they deliver ur visa quicker. My kids got their visa last year within a week after their interview.

Just be patient as long as u did not received a yellow paper (disapprove) then that means ur visa is on the way.

does your kids received 221g also Ma'am? we're just confuse here cause we don't know what to do but just wait for their calls... they kept our passport and asked us to fill-up the 2GO form, almost one week from now and still we're waiting ...

  10. Usually when u are given the 221 g,,it's either they need more documents from you or ur papers are under review. I got one too when i applied for my k1 visa 5 yrs. ago. They did not asked me anymore documents but they kept my passport which is a good sign.

I waited for a few weeks and my visa finally came . If ur visa comes first before ur son's..don't worry about it ur K1 visa is valid for 6 months so u still have plenty of time .

how many weeks did you wait for your visa to arrived Ma'am ? :)

  11. I'm just wondering.....

    1. If you had previous PTB case and you have med cert that says you have been cured, would they still require you to do sputum test?

    2. If you go through sputum test and all 3 tests are negative, do they still require a culture test?

Ill apppreciate your reply.. Thanks a lot!!

i'll try to answer your 1st question... yes i think so they will still require you to do the sputum, 2nd question.. still yes, even though it's negative you still have to wait until 2 months for the results, and if they call you b4 2 months,.. then i think they will put you in 6 months medication...

  12. We need a new thread on this. Our son was given the 221g form after his interview (more like, me, because our son's a minor) last April 19. The CO asked for additional documents (local civil registry copy of birth certificate) and I was given a reverification form to give to the NSO for our son's birth certificate. I sent the LCR through 2GO on April 25 (this is free, Embassy will give you a request form to hand over to 2GO), it was received April 26. I requested for the NSO reverification online thru e-census.gov.ph (this is not free and you can do it in person at the Pasay branch), I received an email that it was dispatched yesterday, April 28. I have already filled out the visa delivery form. My visa has been approved (my interview was last February 17) but is now tied up with my son's case because at my interview, I told the CO that I wanted to wait for my son's interview so that our visas can be processed together. There's no way I'm leaving without our son. Anyone else have any stories? Let's keep in touch! :)

hi there Ma'am, i was also given a 221g last April 20... but in my case they did not asked me any documents that i need to submit to them, and they kept our passport, they also told me that to wait for their call, and if no calls made , 2GO will deliver my passport with visa on it ...

  13. hi guys, i hope you can share your experiences here. i'm also at 221(g) right now F2B cat. i'm just confuse right now cause they put us in AP, but they did not asked me to submit any documents.. when i receive the 221g form from them i noticed that there's only one check in the which is "WAIT TILL YOU HEAR FROM" .. and i asked the lady in the window if i have to submit any documents and she said none..and she kept all our documents and passport and asked me to fill-up the 2GO form, hope you can enlighten me a bit here guys, really worried and hanging, don't know what to do how long does it takes to receive our visa? hope you can share some inputs . thanks and god bless....

  15. kc sbi ng cousin q that's a good thing kc indi nila tnatakan or whatevr na denied or refuse ang visa.. kya ung sau cguro kuya nid lng ng more info or reviews sa papers mo... sbi din nila it'll take 60 days for review pero minsan 2weeks lng... pahabaan lng tlga siguro ng patience

    sana nga po .. ;)

  17. astridstar, can i ask how did u send the needed documents tru 2GO? do i need to print a submission. form and show it to the office of 2GO? i was given 221g also during my interview and they gave back my passport.visa category is F2a.thanks in advance..

when was your interview weerwolf25? what documents did they ask u to submit? i was also given a 221g form but they did not ask any documents from me,

  18. when they gave me the 221g paper they gave me my passport too and was told to send it together with my additional documents... and r u sure that there's nothing written in ur 221g? it says that "WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US: your case is requires further administrative processing/review. Wait for a letter telling you when to return to the Embassy with the documents marked above." DOCUMENTS MARKED ABOVE.

i'm sure , and they did not gave my passport back, they kept it. why did they gave your passport back ? you only have to submit some documents.. and may i ask what documents you need to submit? :)
