  1. Officer asked for some items we did not have available on hand,   then wanted to speak to spouse alone. and ask her more questions,  then I waited 1 hour till spouse was sent out then 2 hours later and officer came back and said we were approved and gave us a typed letter.  but as we walked out, letter was for different applicant., either way  Green Card arrived exactly 5 business days after interview along with online updating 1 day after interview with tracking info from Missouri and all info was correct.  All is well so now I can focus on renewing her Drivers License and she can go home for a family visit soon.

  2. When the status updated to we scheduled an interview on May 25,  got the letter for an interview 10 days later for first week of July.     We just completed a new Medical just to be safe and have new sealed medical,  she needed a 2nd MMR shot for civil surgeon to finalize new I-693.  I have new photos,  joint documents (bank/insurance) w2 and recent tax return .   I have my divorce documents, but we do not have an original divorce decree from her previous marriage in China.  that was already filed and provided at the K1 interview,  hope it is not an issue.   however have a certified copy of our marriage certificate.

  3. For the last few weeks, it showed status of please call USCIS due to no info.   Then Friday I got a text/email that my status updated and I went back and looked... " On May 25, 2018, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number..... "

So looks like it has been back up and now has new status,  I take that a date has been set and they will be mailing a letter now?    we were already preparing our EAD renewal and wife was even planning a 2 week trip back to China (would have been 2nd one on her Parole) this week, but I suggested not to go and just wait on the letter to see what day,  but I feel it would be best to wait till interview is over before she go visit China.

    2) Everyone who filed before October 2017 has been put in an interview waiver list. This would make more sense to me because I believe USCIS' policy is now to interview everyone adjusting status, it would make sense to me that they do this to ease workload.

So you think that even those that got "we are scheduling your interview"  like mine says since September 1st,   we could end up with green cards in mail?  Anyone ever get the "we will schedule an interview" and just have a gc show up?

  5. Correction to LA County,  now says November 15, 2015 cases being processed....  ouch....   But my first original online inquiry was not "outside processing times"  It was "did not receive notice in mail"  regarding interview and they did promptly inquire and a Tier 2 agent did look at it and send out a notice to me saying my interview still has not been scheduled.

  6. Well some have missed interviews by status still saying will be scheduled and letter never came safely.  even still within processing times.    I know the field stations have processing time,  the old system format actually had cases of April 2017.    now the new format has of March 2016,  which I find odd.     Also general website says contact if over 120 days from I-485 submission?

  7. I am now getting the same "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information. "

    But https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

Does now give the old normal update of "we are scheduling your interview"  as of September 1st.

I have still yet tried to get a Tier 2 agent even at 6-8am each day,  but they say no more for the day.

I might do an online request again,  my last one was responded in December saying no interview yet.

LA City office is probably so behind?

This new method of reporting Processing Times adds more layers of confusion and it is obviously just more convenient to them. The way I see it, they could've just put in there "You are allow to call USCIS if you applied Before Christ Resurrection" or something along the lines....

I filed and got receipt in late July,   I am from LA county and the old processing times was March 2017 applicants.   now the new processing time site says November 2015 applicants???

we did bio metrics in August,  combo EAD card in October.   I did online inquiry in late December concerned that my interview date might have got lost in mail.  (some are saying the online status sometimes never updates even if interview was scheduled)  and got letter in mail saying no interview has been set yet.

I have recently been trying to call for a Tier 2,  but they keep saying no more for the day, even when I call early in the morning.

status online is still   "As of September 1, 2017, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status  etc."

The online account for uscis even shows the online inquiry service request and response from December in the case status.  but nothing after that.

I might do another online inquiry,  it seems that would pretty much yield same information if I were to do an infopass.   Cause they actually assign an officer to check my service request submitted online and actually mail out a USPS letter with response.

  9. I was wondering about part 5 question 6

If you have sponsored anyone before on an I-864 that are now a lawful permanent resident.

I have filed two I-864 in the past for two ex spouses, but divorced and never saw them again and they both were still on conditional green cards at divorce,  I also never filed anything for the permanent green card process or AOS from a K3 and a CR1.

Do I still include that number in the household size?   Not that it matters since I am above the guidelines to AOS my K1,  but is it technically correct?  I have no clue if they are now permanent legal residents, US Citizens, or if still in the country?

  10. My Fiancee has a 10 year Tourist Visa in her passport and did not sign up for the EVUS yet,  now her next arrival she will use her K1,   should she bother with EVUS even she is going to use the K1 page this time around?

  11. K1 was approved and CEAC site now says Issued,  but on US Travel Docs,   all the data on the CITIC bank location etc is no longer showing,  it shows no information in each block,  except the final block saying "your passport is still at the embassy/consulate"

I was wondering if GUZ will still have the original instructions to send it to the CITIC branch in our city, which was already done and set up when paying the fees and scheduling the interview via US Travel Docs.  It was all in the US Travel Docs system until like 1 day after the interview,  it now shows nothing except that GUZ still has the passport?    I hope that does not mean they think we are to pick it up locally at GUZ?   CEAC says "Issued" so is the next step for GUZ to update US Travel Docs further with tracking or that passport is sent out?

  12. Interview is for K1 visa in Guangzhou.

My Fiancee is in Beijing thus the medical can be done ahead of time at the authorized Beijing Clinic.

She is also out of town for 2 weeks at end of month so January 11 is too close for her to go down to Guangzhou with all necessary items (Medical etc)

I found on another forum that they update the system every Monday and Friday, so more dates open up? correct?

  13. So far here is how far I am.

P4 was an email and fee was paid at CITIC

but now I try to schedule, it only gives me January 3-11, nothing else in future. Does that mean those are my only choices, or can I just stall and check back later for late January like the 25th or so?

It seems too short of a notice to schedule medical in Beijing (I do not even know if the available appointments would be early enough, cant get to the appointment selection part unless I actually book my interview date), find air tickets, hotel etc.

Is the appointments available kinda set a certain week from checking the site? or I have to just take what is left?

  14. I am trying to place together all the I-134 threads about item 9 and 10, but some seem to say different things.

We just got P4 via email from GUZ

I am trying to put together the I134. in Item 9 as some threads state to put previous spouse if I did submit an affidavit of support in past (I put that) but about my 1st ex spouse... one thread said if its well past 10 years of I-864 (14 years), no need to put the 1st ex spouse, just 2nd ex spouse since its still within 10 years (2011)?

should I be putting the 14 year old I-864 AOS sponsor also in question 9 along with the 5 year old I-864 AOS ex spouse?

    This leads to question 10,

which has only 2 lines, would I have to now put all 3 , K3 ex spouse 1 from 14 years ago, CR1 ex spouse 2 from 5 years ago, and then K1 current fiancee? no room for 3 lines?

I wondered if I could just omit ex spouse 1 in line 10? but still put in line 9?

Some thread said that previous ex with affidavit over 10 years could be omitted if you already have a more recent previous ex spouse with an affidavit done in past?

Possible Information below might have so,

The P3 copy of I-129F sent to my Fiancee shows some really interesting approval evidence, Nothing was even filled under General Waiver, Extraordinary Circumstances, Mandatory Waiver, and check mark under IMBRA Applies? was "NO"

They did not even bother with my request for a waiver cause I thought I did fall under that category.
