Can someone please add COTONOU to the list of consulate. Benin is in the drop down list for countries but the consulate which is located in Cotonou is not.

Wow, Jolisa, sounds like your husband got grilled at the interview! That's a lot of questions! Thanks for the post- really useful to see what kind of information they are interested in.
Yes indeed Kimsue. But he says that overall it was a great interview. The CO didn't seem to be grilling him but was just so surprised that we have so many pictures and liked the vibe we had in everyone of them. He said that the CO actually congratulated him for knowing so much about me and for being so organized.
The lady who did his fingerprints told him that he didn't have to bring all those bags of proof because i have already front loaded our case.
He said he had a great time and the CO was actually laughing with him. When you have something legitimate you don't get bother being asked questions. I think they are just taking extra precautions now from the Sub Sahara region as there is a lot of frauds.

i all, after 7 months of immigration procedure, i can finally say that we were approved this afternoon.
My husband is still crying tear of joys and screaming his lungs out. I will post all the questions he was asked by tomorrow.
His interview which was scheduled for 8AM was delayed and pushed to 2 PM but overall he is pleased with how everything turns out. He said the CO was really nice and professional, asked lots of questions and was more interested in seeing pictures (specially traditional wedding ones). His interview lasted about 45mns he said because they were having such a great time and the CO told him that he is one in a few that he ever interviewed who had all their files together..
Thanks to each and everyone of you for the prayers, the thoughts or even just a word of encouragement or comfort. Special thanks to Omo for the phone calls and sms and being by my side every second throughout the night. It helps so much to know that someone was there for me to lean my head on
Good luck to everyone and may God abundantly pours down his blessings on you.

You can send off your ds 230 documents to the nvc.. It's two seperate process and waiting will only make you get a RFE from NVC stating they are missing a package..The sooner you send the ds 230 package, the earlier they will complete your case because they can process both the affidavit and ds 230 together
