  1. Aloha All

    Kumusta?

For us its been almost 2 weeks. I think all is going well, we have been very busy finishing build and furnish on a tight budget our new small house.

She did not like the Kikkoman soysauce I like so we found some silver swan, and some other Filipino goodies. Last week we went went fishing at a Tilapia farm, she was very happy. She cleaned and cooked them, was very good aside from the bones.

I introduced her to a Filipina neighbor and she was over there for hours. At walmart she met a Filipino family from Bohol and some filipina of similar age, they have been on facebook and yahoo.

The Skype to PH cell calling is working very well but keeping the calls short at 18c a minute.

Her 3yo daughter and my 7yo son play a lot together and she is less and less shy every day to me.

Its been cold here 70s, wind and rain so we snuggle a lot, its very nice to have each other.

I ask her if she is happy here and she says OO, 1000 percent

So far So good. Now to pay off all the bills Huhuhuhuhu hehhehe

    Good Luck to us all

    Happy

  4. It has only been 3 business days since they said the visa was issued. I would relax a little and wait and see what happens.

Ok guys I guess your right. Its just so many delay. Name spellings,Passport issues, typhoon it goes on and on.

We have it set for Pickup at the 2go in the SM Mall of Asia very near to the Embassy and CFO.

I was really hope for have them fly here Thursday or else I may have to wait until next Monday.

Hard for me to work, just going crazy. 3 business days = weeks to me hehhehe.

  5. After multiple phone calls to both the Embassy and 2go, I finally received this email back.---

We call and track every day they say is not there. But then read this-----

We are pleased to inform you that fiancée and fiancée derivative (K2) nonimmigrant visas were issued to the applicants on October 13, 2011. The visa packets will be delivered to their designated address by guaranteed courier service.

You or Ms. xxxxxx may contact the 2GO customer service hotline at (63) (2) 528-7136 regarding the status of the visa packets.

    /mbp

2go has no record, they say they have not recieved it yet.

She is waiting in Manila every day for this and no one can help.

I gues I try as she would call it to "Get Wild" with 2go and have them find the lost Visa's

  6. My fiancée went to her interview on Oct 7th. She and several other women all had 6:30 am appointments. All seemed to have quick interviews with no problems. One already has her visa and 2 more have verified it is with 2GO document service. No word on ours yet. We are checking the 2GO web site and calling them daily. Next call is to the Embassy when they open.

    What do you think?

I know parts of the overall process can take different amounts of time for different people. Each case is judged on its own merit. But I assumed after the interview and told that you are approved the actual issuing of the K1 visa should be straight forward and not vary much.

We are same situation, same day.

Still waiting. Ill try email the embassy today.

  7. Hi all

We finally had the interview on the 7th (delayed because the typhoon). I keep checking 2Go but still invalid. Im hoping for Monday. Im not really trying to say anything except I wish it was ready to pick up so I can buy the plane tickets already, and she can do the CFO Seminar.

Im using the MNL number and using etrace - I believe that is correct

    Good Luck to All

  8. Mazda Miata hard top aitomatic

Yeah the Miata's are great and easy to drive. I traded my Miata in for the Mazda 3.

Also my girl loves to ride the motor, we don't have that style motorcycles here so just I picked up a used Ruckus for around town until she gets her drivers licence.

My kids love it. I take to the post office and convenient store. Good fun but now I get the motorcycle bug starting.
