Congrats! what service center you filed?

We filed at the vermont service ccenter

We finally got our NOA2 today. Was exactly 6 months for us. To the day. Ready for the next step...just got to figure out exactly what that is,hahaha

So I called USCIS Thursday to check on the status of my petition, filed may 20, 2011, wondering why it was taking so long. The operator then directed me to their website where it showed Vermont working on March 15 instead of saying 5 months processing time. Just seeing if anyone knew what was up with that? I thought they were much further along than that.

I went down on a mission trip to Brazil with my church and she was one of our interpreters. Spent a week together on that trip, then talked constantly for 6 month then a visit and engagement in December

I just wanted to know if my fiance needed to get police certificates from cities she stayed in for a while but did not have residence(address or home).

I emailed the consulate in Rio and they said that we can accompany our fiances to the visa interviews. Thought you would like to know. And I agree this process scares the *insert word here* out of me to.

OK, thanks for the quick replies.

Hey guys I am new to this forum and my fiance and I are about to send in our I-129f in the next couple of weeks. I just had some general questions.

I have just gotten a new job that puts me over the poverty level, but I have been working there for only about a week now. By the time I need to send my fiance the I-134, which based on current precessing times is at least 5 months, will that be long enough time to show the consulate that I have the job and will be able to support her or do I need to find a co-sponsor?

Also when it is time for the interview will I be able to attend with her?

She lives in Brazil so we will be dealing with the consulate in Rio de Janeiro.
