Hi everyone,i just want to ask what should i do,i recieved my k1 visa today but i have noticed theres an error on annotation part ,my fiance’s surname spelled incorrect. Instead of Nichols,it spelled Nicolas on my visa. pls. help.thank you very much anyone here experienced that

Thank you so much! we got denied due to wrong responsed to our rfe,we appealed and after 3 weeks we got approved! Oh last sept.8 my fiance ask the senator to help him ask USCIS how long it will take for our papers to be process! The USCIS said after 1-2 weeks, but i was so happy when i opened ny email on Sept. 9, it said we are approved! That was fast! I was expecting to hear from them in 2 weeks

Unfortunately, he needs to appeal. In his case, re-filing will only waste money and time. Because USCIS will look at the denied I-129f and re-open that application anyway, then have to process the appeal. Re-filing will take a longer time. But the best way to overcome any issues is to appeal with the reasons for denial explained and attached. Recommend he send all divorce decrees certified from the court plus anything else to show relationship (any travel documents since filing, photos, receipts, money sent) with the appeal as well as a motorized statement as to why the RFE was not answered properly.

Sad to say we got denied due to mistake of my fiance ,USCIS asked my fiance to send the original divorced decree of him and his first wife,but unfortunately maybe due to too much excitement,the day he got the rfe letter,he have sent his divorced decree with his second wife instead of the first wife. Can you pls. tell me which is much better: to refile or appeal to reopen. Thanks!

hi:) we had the same situation . i met my fiance last november and he vivited me february:) this journey will take time and believe me once we'll get there it's all worth it:) just gather more evidences before the interview like what i'm doing:) goodluck

Me and my Fiance met online Last Nov. 2010,we also became a couple that mo.,He visited me Last Dec. for 7 days only,coz both of us have work and can't have longer vacation,Then he came back and visited me again last mo. for 10 days.He went home March 17,2011 and filed the petition last March 24,2011.So he had been here with me 2 times already. My question is do you think that time frame that we are just in a 5 mos. relationship may affect the visa approval?
