We got our notice yesterday that my husband's greencard has been ordered! FINALLY!
-
Can anyone give me some idea of how to get an extension of your one-year extension? I'm a little concerned that we'll need it and I don't know how far in advance you need to request it. Thanks.

You're getting RFEs on things you sent because you lost them and since we are dealing with the govt., they don't lose things - it's your fault.
I meant because "they" lost them, not you.

too much for my pregnant #### to be worried about....trying to buy a house and move being pregnant, preparing for baby and green card at same time is too much for my brain
how do i check if its been touched yet cant rmemeber the website i go on
I don't think it matters how you label things. With AOS, we got RFE because they said we didn't include the marriage certificate. What they meant was, they lost it. It had our names on it - it's a marriage certificate? How could it not get back to the proper file???

I was re-reading the I-751 instructions and I think the NOA is missing a comma. I think it should read: Conditional resident applicants, including conditional resident dependents - insert comma here - residing overseas...
Am I right?

Our check was cashed 7/22 and we received NOA today, dated 7/20.
I have a question though. It says on the NOA: Conditional resident applicants, including conditional resident dependents residing overseas pursuant to military or government order WILL NOT RECEIVE and ASC appointment notice. To complete biometric processing, these applicants must submit the required items listed on the I-751 form instructions.
What the heck are they talking about? I mean, aren't they are conditional resident applicants????

happyndinlove - thanks for adding us to the timeline. I just confirmed that ours was delivered today.

I'd send a copy of any type of identification showing the same address.
That's what we did.
we sent a copy of both drivers licenses + our child's patient info showing we live together.

We mailed ours off today. It should be at VSC by Tues.

My I-751 rejected. i need to wait till i get the package and resend it again... BS laws. were just 2 days early from 90 days period... grrrrrrrrrr
I don't understand why they can't just hold it. Seems a little ridiculous to me.

I wouldn't recommend calling Southerners Yanks. Also, the appopriate term for ill-mannered Southerners is redneck. Hillbillies are really, in my opinion, people who live in the Appalachians. Now, just to be clear, don't call anyone a redneck to their face because they probably have a gun and don't mind using it. Sometimes it's better just to talk about people behind their backs.
P.S. Polite Southerners never refer to Notherners as Yankees anyway, because it's a derogatory term in the South.

We listed (both) the address as it is and the packet was delivered to VSC, no problem. We used USPS, by the way.
Good Luck!
Thanks!

We are about to file. My question for those who use VSC: The VSC address is listed with both a street name and a PO Box. They're not separate. What is the deal? Do we list both on the envelope - is this something where they have PO Boxes in the building??? Or should we just use the PO Box??? Thanks in advance.

no -no medical with the 1-751 removal of conditions, you need biometrics later.
Thanks!

Do you have to submit a medical exam with the I-751?

This is all very confusing to me and I've been researching this. Can someone please tell me the following:
1) When I-130 is approved, does the beneficiary get a visa, or is that a whole separate process that takes years?
2) Do immigrants from the E.U. have to wait a gazillion years, or do their applications go any faster?
I tried looking at the Visa Bulletin but I could not understand it. Thanks in advance!
