  1. average time of ap is 3-6 months in my case it has been 3 months already and i still havent heard anything still waiting for an answer and everytime i emailed them i get the same answer case still pending!!! ####### why does it take so long if there's nothing wrong with my case, they have everything they didnt request any documents ... this is one of their response " when i emailed them Dear Ms. Ali,

    Thank you for your email inquiry. Mr. Mohamed case’s is currently undergoing a mandatory administrative review, which happens to be a normal process that occurs with visa processing. We shall inform him, when this process is completed on about how to proceed.

    is anyone from addis going thru ap? any advice on what i should do at this point will help... is it too early for me to contact the congrass...

  2. I understand your pain. Best thing to do is continue your life as is until you hear from the embassy. It could take one day, one week, or one year. Once you RECEIVE the visa is the time to start wrapping things up, hard as it is to wait the month or so it would take to do that after receiving the visa.

    I am a United States citizen. I am married to a Somali national living in Ethiopia. Anyway, my husband went in for an interview at the consulate a few days ago. The consulate sent him this paper, which the image of I have attached, but it does not seem very clear. Can someone please tell me what this is supposed to mean?
