  1. My wife and I have been married for over 2 years now and we filed her I751 form in June. We just recieved a letter from USCIS asking for more suporting documents.

We already sent copies of emails, YM chats, photos, a copy of our vacation in Niagra Falls, a copy of my health insurance with my wife on it, a copy of our joint bank accounts with both our names on it, a copy of both our married but filing jointly tax returns showing our common address, copy of the house insurance bill showing her name as one of the beneficiaries and numerous other things. The main thing I am realizing now is, even though we are paying all of our utilities and other bills out of our joint checking account, they still wanted to see my wifes name on all the bills for these things.

The main question I had was, how far back do the bills with both our names have to go back? I can do that now, but I don't want it to seem like we are trying to do it to fool anyone.

Also the tax returns. We have filed married filing jointly for the past 2 years just because we get more money back that way. We didn't realize that would matter either. I can file jointly this year, but I wasn't sure if they would still accept such a new return.

We are also planning to include 2 affidavits from third parties that have known us since before Marivic got here.

I know this sounds like we are not that bright, but I didn't realize 2 people in love would be scrutinized so closely after all we went through already to get this far.

Thank you for any guidance on these questions.

  2. Does she want to immigrate to the US using her tourist visa? If so, that is not ok. If not, ignore my question.

yes she want to stay her in USA for good. she is saying using the tourist visa to get here and when she get here she will change her status right away if it is ok. is that applicable too?

  3. I just have a question for my friend. She is married to an American Guy for 2 years and she had a kid with him. They are from Philippines. They move in Cambodia and process there papers there to come here in Philippines.

    My question is:

They got married in Philippines and they file a tourist visa for her self to enter in the USA. Is that ok? She said she passed.

But the problem now is her daughter .... can't enter the USA without the US passport because the father is a US citizen. Is it really need it to have a US passport to enter in USA? if so what else the procedure on how to process the papers..

Thanks...IT WILL BE VERY HELPFUL FOR THE RESPONSES.

  4. My fiance arrived at the embassy at 6:00 am and said that there were already many people there waiting. She went in and talked to the consulate officer who asked her questions and then told her to to the next window and wait for her name to be called. When she went to that window, it was the 2go window who gave her a 221g form which requested her to get a nso cenomar from pasay and have it delivered to the embassy via the 2go service, She had previously gotten a recent cenomar from her local office in Malabon two weeks prior to the interview. They also kept her passport. On the sticky note attached to the 221g there was a handwritten note which said that the interview was ok. So, do I need to be worried about anything here?

As long as you comply the papers that they need...the visa will be in her hand soon...but typically it takes 1 week for the CENOMAR.GOOD LUCK!

  5. I met my fiancee in real just week and then filed the a visa after that....luckily it went so fast and no problem at all as long as you really know your fiancee and you have supported document to support with the ongoing relationship it will be fine.

  7. "i have a question regarding names. what if you never used your married name, no documents exist regarding the married name, do you still put your married name on #7 of I-129F?

this confuses me since the question is other names used,so what if you havent used it? like you used single status on passport and NBI clearance and you never use married name and you just got final papers for your annulment recently and now you are real single.. what are the causes of problem would be? would you get deny on k-1?"
